Went there with a party of 5 on Friday night and everything was terrible. The staff was terrible, the food was cold and the Mahi Mahi I ordered was dry and overcooked. Worst of all, after there was a hair on the plate of my...sister-in-law's Salmon entree, she sent it back and after about 20-25 minutes they brought her back the same piece of salmon (she cut the salmon a specific way to ensure that she would not get the same piece back and when they did finally return with a "new"plate, it was clearly the same piece of Salmon). Disgusting. We will certainly never return there and I would strongly suggest avoiding this place.More

Surprisingly the food was absolutely delicious. Even the service was great. I had a Martini and my friend has wine, not skimpy at all. We will definitely go back. I recommend everyone try it at least once

The owner Noel Cannon is the most rude person I ever encounter in my life. Don't bother coming here. He only cares for sales and not taking cre of customer.

We had a nice dinner on the water at Smuggler Jacks. Our individual heated igloo was a fun cozy way to enjoy dinner. We had drinks, appetizers, and our entrees in the igloo. We went inside for after dinner drinks.

Why I gave 1 star? We've arrived there and sit but then, because it was too warm, I asked a table with an umbrella as my bf was beginning to get red. Until there ok. The staff was good, the boy took us to the...other table and left. And never came back. Another person came and I ordered a bottle of the only champagne that costs 23$. I ordered the fried calamari and my bf ordered a fish sandwich. A good time passed by and the waitermam came back and said they didn't have the champagne available, which didn't wave me any other option of champagne as all the others were costing about 44-112$. So I ordered very upset the big sangria that was not the best I've had. This 23 champagne should not be in the menu as "available" Then the calamari was served, it seemed that frozen thing we throw into the hot oil and it breaks when you try to use the fork . I had few and I was already very frustrated. So I ordered a cease with salmon which was not the best either but it was ok. PAY ATTENTION THE PLACE IS GORGEOUS THE STAFF IS FRIENDLY, BUT SOME THINGS CAN BE IMPROVED. THATS ALL.More

First of all how can you rate a restaurant like Smuggler Jacks with an owner who doesn’t know the first thing about CUSTOMER SERVICE. He is RUDE , OBNOXIOUS and an IDIOT. I can say a few more choice words but he is not worth...it. We went to dinner Friday night at 6 PM and our server Katie was a pleasure until we found a black curly hair underneath my wife’s vegetables who knows it could have been someone’s pubic hair and the owner had the gall to say it wasn’t from his kitchen which was about 15 feet away. We all know we are still in a pandemic and he had the nerve to get into my wife’s ear and say she was rude I guess he doesn’t know how to do social distancing what do you want from an IDIOT. I’m done and never going back.More

We ate here from my daughter's birthday. We booked an igloo. The igloo was very pretty Uncomfortable with the lights and couches and small fireplace. The girls loved it was the 1st time we had been out in quite some time but felt comfortable in...this private dining experience. Staff was really nice food was excellent and everyone was super accommodating. It was our 1st time here but definitely not our last. Unfortunately it was a rainy night but would probably be beautiful on the water in better weather.More

Soooo SMUGGLER JACKS - NEVER AGAIN!!! Please read!!! After seeing a post last week about these amazing experiences in igloos, I called 2 weeks in advance for a reservation. Mind you, I have not been out of the house in months. We were looking so...forward to this. We’ve given business to Paddy’s loft for parties and events in the past. (Same owner) They called to ask for the $75 deposit. I was not told when I made the reservation 2 weeks ago that we needed to pay. So whatever, I paid. Then my card was charged more. I called to ask why because I wasn’t sure why.... My call was forwarded to a cell wher I get a message CALL AFTER 7. I didn’t even know who it was from because it wasn’t the restaurant. Now hours later, The owner Noel literally the nastiest POS I’ve ever spoken to, rude, demeaning clearly a chauvinist... tell me that it’s for a credit card fee and that I was told. I said, ok I wasn’t told but just wanted to know. Now he changes his tune and asks me when the reservation is for, I told Him, he tells me “ok well I have another party of 6 I’m going to book” Ummmm excuse me? All I did was ask why it was more than $75. He said “I don’t care, I explained it to you now I’m done dealing with you.” Ummm excuse me? I realize it’s the owner Noel whom Ive deal with at Paddy’s. He then tells me that he he doesn’t care that we’ve been going to pAddys that he doesn’t need my business and that he “doesn’t care about me or my business.” I can’t believe that after everything going on in this world and how I’m trying to support local business, this is how customers are treated locally! He also told me that “you’re lucky you were getting a bargain because next week we’re charging $120.” To sit for 2 hours in a plastic igloo. GTFOH w/ that! Please save your time and go elsewhere and support local businesses that actually care about their customers!More

Last night I had the worst experience at any restaurant I have ever gone to. (Which is many). We were a group of two couples. Upon arriving we were seated at an outside table. As we were about to sit down, the manager/owner came over...and got in our faces and was extremely rude stating we needed to have a mask on, as we all did!!!! We only took it off as we were about to sit down. He did not have to approach us in such a fowl manner. I get there are guidelines to follow and I respect that. Honestly, I didn’t even know who he was because he never introduced himself. At first, I thought he was a “Ken” due to he was sitting at a table with several others when he jumped out of his seat to attack us. That was our first initial experience. We were never given any menus. Not even a glass of water was offered. We sat there for at least 20 minutes if not more. Me, looking around thinking where are the hidden cameras? I felt we were on candid camera or something. No, seriously, I did! It was crazy. We had enough! We finally put our masks back on and walked right out. We did not leave unnoticed. It was only a few tables taken so it was clearly seen by staff that this was happening. Not one single person, not even that manager stopped us and tried to rectify the situation. Needless to say, it was the biggest mistake on their part. We will NEVER EVER go to this place again and I will let everyone I know to do the same. Good riddance Smuggler Jack...More

We were a party of 6 had a terrible time it took an hour to get water on the table and our drinks an additional half hour. Then waited an additional half hour for appetizers...after complaining, received only three our entrées after twenty minutes of not...receiving the other three entrées, we left. They were plenty of waiters, had nothing to do with the pandemic, it was just very bad management. Never will go back!More

My guess is that the bad reviews were posted by idiots who refused to wear their masks. The food is great. The staff is great. They are incredibly safety conscious. The guy in the hat that someone called grumpy in a review I believe is...an attentive owner who wants diners to have a great experience. This was our first time there....we will be back.... a family of four.... our 12 year old daughters too loved the food!!!!More

Went to Smuggler Jacks on a recommendation. Tasty food, and great attentive service by wait staff. Was organized following COVID restrictions. I had heard about this place. Glad we finally checked it out. Thought the calamari appetizer with sweet chili sauce was tasty and not...rubbery like we often encounter when eating out. The menu is not extensive but gives one a varied selection. Check it out you will enjoy!More
