The view would be even better if it was on the ocean side rather than the bay. Don't go expecting gourmet dining and you won't be disappointed.

Be prepared to wait and wait for your food! Food was descent not bad but for the prices I had expected more. We arrived with a minimal wait to be seated but the staff appears confused ate best. 15 minutes to get taken to table after they told us our table was ready. Once seated 15-20 minutes for waiter to... More

I almost feel like I am on vacation when I am here. The seating is outdoors under a tent right off of the beach on the bay side. Sunset is the best time to be there. However, the menu is limited and overpriced. The taste is lackluster... nothing special. But the view is pretty good.

On a cool evening; it's a nice environment with calming views. The menu is extremely limited and the good al tastes as if it comes out of a microwave. There is also a limited selection of wine. If you want a drink by the water; it's a nice environment; but I would not recommend the food.

It's all about the location and view. It goes downhill after that. Although we admittedly went with a large group on a Sunday and were seated promptly, it took a full hour for our food to come out from the time we placed our order. Wouldn't have been so bad except we had five children in our group under the... More

I was at the Seafood Shack for lunch yesterday and could not believe the increase in prices. A salad, composed mostly of lettuce, was $13 and adding 4 shrimp to that salad was an additional $12! Ridiculous! With iced tea and a tip, my friend and I each ended up spending $36 for lunch! I have been eating at the... More

The beachside location is fabulous, the menu is boring and the food is not great. Each year we keep giving it a try but most times its a dissapointment.

You would think that it would be hard to screw up with a beach view at your restaurant. OMG this place and the Salsa Shack next door have the worst possible service and kitchen management. Eat on the main land

The food was average to better, the service so so. The prices are about what you would expect on the water. The view and ambiance of the bay are what you came here for and to watch the sun set.

I've been here several times before and know as one other reviewer mentioned to "pack my patience." But this time was RIDICULOUS. We visited on a Friday evening. Arrived at 6 pm, and were seated immediately (party of 4) which was surprising, but exciting since we were going to the Theater at Jones beach for an 8 pm concert. Alex,... More
