We have eaten at the Three Bear Inn a couple of times now after skiing at Greek Peak and the food has been excellent. Last night we had meatballs, calves liver, and crab cakes: all delicious. Do not judge by the somewhat dated interior: this...More

More known as a motorcycle motel and bar but the restaurant is known to locals as something more of an upscale place to dine. It’s nice but definitely a little outdated. We asked for mushrooms on the side with our steak and they were definitely...More

While browsing for a new residence in and around the Marathon, NY area, I have visited the Three Bear Inn on two separate occasions. On both occasions I was greeted with a warm "Small Town" welcoming. Suzanne definitely wakes up each morning realizing the fact...More

We have a summer place about 15 minutes from Marathon and we try to stop here a couple of times a summer. The staff is always very bright and friendly. The food is good. If you’re in the area it’s definitely worth a visit.

The Three Bear Inn has been around for a long time. When you step in the dinning room door you will see original decor that I think just might be original. The dining area where breakfast is served is most indicative of the decor. And...More
