I was here with my husband and friends this past weekend for lunch after a visit to the Botanical Gardens in the Bronx, and was absolutely stunned at how good this restaurant's command of the cuisine was. Why? Because who would know that a Danish chef would outdo French chefs in the art of Provencal cuisine? (I was told the... More

Consistent excellent food and service. Concerned about atmosphere, seems to have lost its romantic intimate charm and become more 'family style' focused. Not happy with up charge for substituting potatoes for vegetables. Plenty of family style restaurants in Westchester, need to retain the romantic, intimate spaces for 'special' occasions.

Wonderful French restaurant for a simple dinner of Moules and crusty fries, to warm foie gras and rack of Lamb in the grand manner. You must reserve, especially for holidays. The owners are Dutch and the atmosphere is bright and welcoming. Lovely brunch as well. Do not expect huge Enzo-size portions...it's a French restaurant with French-size portions, but if you... Coming in second to La Panatiere is not an insult, especially since I think that the gap is shrinking. I have been eating French food in Westchester for 35 years and I am very happy that Le Provencal continues to exist and to improve. We were a party of four; the place was busy on a Friday night, but we... More

I stopped in for a drink yesterday and decided to have a bite. I ordered an APPETIZER, the Valentines Day special "Lobster salad, sliced avocado, mango salsa, wild mushrooms" ... it was good, not great and absolutely not worth the 26. dollars I was charged for it! If the bartender had any decorum whatsoever he would have stated the price... More

What a gem! Moved to Mamaroneck over a year ago and always wanted to try this place and finally went with my husband and it was such a treat. Nice decor and food was amazing. Everything on the menu looked good but both my husband and I got a special each. My husband got the venison medallions which came with... More

The food was good and as expected a bit on the expensive side. I can't say it was really expensive, but not the "lets go for dinner on a Tuesday night" kinda place. Not very friendly when we first walked in there (long story), but service was fair and food was good. If you're looking for a place that has... More
