I don't know why people wait on line at Sal's. Joe's is a much better choice for some really good pizza. There is more cheese on their pies, and just taste better.

Ok, so their pizza is completely average... I can live with that. But refusing to participate with a donation of a pizza to the neighborhood school fundraiser raffle? How Scrooge-like can you be? I haven't walked into the place since!
Italian owner but not Italian chef. Sauce too heavy and not enough to make you want to return. SO SO. Very small and uncomfortable eating area.
The cheese slice is not as good as Sal's down the street although they have a greater variety of pizza. I go to Joe's for the marinara sicilian slices amongst other things. The staff is a bit friendlier than Sal's prices are comparable.
