Carmine and his staff were excellent and the food was on point. I have a new favorite beer and Bella Via will replace where we used to go in Long Island City. I will be sure to get lunch take out orders for my office as well. Thanks and see you soon.

Food choices are many, primarily Italian, tasty and not that expensive. The staff are friendly and service is fast. This restaurant, according to locals is the best wood oven pizza spot and I have to say that their pizzas are really, really good. But you can't go wrong with sea-food and pasta choices. Everything we tried was very tasty, portions... More

This place has a different type of red tomato sauce for seafood pasta. Whatever that is, it's excellent. I like the black linguini from here. They also carry own chili flakes that could come from the backyard, how cool is that. It's like they can read my mind that I'm a spice queen. Hubby and I came here for dinner.... More

The menu was not the same old Italian. My choice was delicious, and others thought so too. The wine cost was very reasonable.

Based on reviews it sounded to my wife and I like Bella Via is known for its pizza, but I think that understates this restaurants charm. Sure, the pizza is coal-fired in an oven - nice and crispy. But, the pasta dishes were quite good too. Moreover, the salad with pear and walnut was fresh and tasty and the appetizer... More

I was first introduced to Coal Fired pizza while a family member was attending Yale. Sal has the real deal and his authentic NYC restaurant is a fantastic gem in LIC!

Second time being here. Good selection of menu items. Pizza is just the right amount of crust and cheese. The baby kale salad was awesome. The wait staff is very attentive and love the atmosphere.

We dropped off someone and decide we needed some quick dinner. very nice restaurant...The bread and dipping oil were very good. The food was good.,though I did feel the chicken was pressed...instead of real. My husband really enjoyed his Lasagna.
