I went to this restaurant on a business meeting with several colleagues this week. Excellent and plenty of food. The seafood platter was itself like a dinner. I had lamb chops and they were cooked extremely well. The dessert platter to share was also an excellent choice. Service of the place was also very good. This is not a fancy... More

Dinner at Piccola Venezia is a trip back in time. This is the type of service from our childhood. The food is great and there's lots of it. A whole fish elegantly filleted and delicious is quite a meal. Get in your car and don't worry that there's no place to park, they have valet parking.

We had a wonderful time here, celebrating a double birthday with another couple. Everything about the place gave us a good feeling, the old world look, the friendly staff, and the plentiful signs the place was popular with locals. We drove from the city on early Sunday evening, and street parking was no problem. There is valet parking available as... More

This is a gem in Astoria, Queens. As another reviewer said, it is a true old-school Italian restaurant, with great veal dishes, wonderful pastas, and a good range of seafood and steak dishes as well. The service is particularly warm and friendly, and there is a good, varied wine list. I went regularly (perhaps monthly) with a late friend of... More

Zagat ratings are accurate - great food and great service, a little pricey, but some nice touches. Thank goodness for valet parking. Complimentary bruschetta and olives tasting for app, and nice cookie for dessert. Great bread selection. A bit noisy, but it was crowded and every patron was smiling and enjoying the meal and friends.

Piccola Venezia was my late father-in-law's favorite restaurant and we return whenever we are in NY. I've eaten there about five times over the course of twelve years. One of the best things about it is that it has not changed. This is old school all the way. They serve with familiar professionalism. Some TA reviewers think it needs an... More

Have been here many times. Valet parking a plus. They treat you like an honored guest even on the first visit. The food is delicious, served and presented beautifully. Old world Italian decor, personally I like it.

With a group of 11 people we had dunner here. Not uncommon we had a variety of starters of the 'usual' kind of food in a Italian restaurant. Nice enough but not very special. Second course was a pasta, also not bad but not memorable either. For main course seabass which was nicely cooked and luckily not with too much... More
