This small restaurant offers French cuisine the way it's supposed to be served. The staff is extremely friendly and speaks English as well as French which was greatly appreciated. All the food we ate was prepared to perfection and tasted great. If you're looking for a place to have a romantic dinner with your loved one, go to a small... More

We were stopping at the Best Western Plaza and fancied a steak. After a quick search on Trip Advisor we found the Tournesol which was a 30minute walk from our hotel. My son & I both had steaks and they were spot on and we had a creme burlee to finish. The food was great and the service was good... More

We just dined there recently for lunch with friends and had a good meal by the time it arrived an hour later. They had a party of ten or twelve come in after we ordered and that came first. This hasn't been our experience there. Service is usually great and the salad Nicoise is my favourite for lunch, the burger... More

I enjoyed this sweet French bistro, but don't visit this restaurant if you are on a time schedule. It took TIME for someone to give us a menu, it took TIME for a waiter to take our order, it took TIME for the kitchen to prepare our meal (how long does it take to make French toast?) and, finally, it... My husband and daughter and I stopped here for an early dinner, and were please to find that we could walk right in on a Saturday night. We enjoyed the calamari salad, and the endive salad. The steak and fries were perfect for our seven-year-old, and my husband savored every bite of the duck. The staff were very friendly and... More

I visited this restaurant with my two kids. The decor is traditionally French and it has a good ambiance. Food is amazing. The best escargots I have ever tried. Duck a la orange is very good. Strongly recommended. Good prices for the quality.

This is a very Parisian place. One of the few where the servers actually speak French. They are really great and you can enjoy a fabulous hamburger. I normally get the Salad frisee avec lardons, my favorite salad from France. They have some great wines by the glass and a full bar. Nothing fancy for sure but they really exude... More

This restaurant was as good as any in NYC if not better and reasonable prices. The asparagus/goat cheese appetizer was delicious as was the endive salad with pear and blue cheese. For dinner we had the trout which was delicious as was the fish special. My husband had the Monday Sirloin which he said was very tasty but a little... More

Been here several the first by accident for breakfast. So impressed we came back for dinner, then again & again. Every time, no matter what special or what meal, the staff was wonderful & the food wonderful... mussels, eggs, steak, fish, etc. Whatever I've had here has been absolutely fantastic. I come every time I come to this wonderful city.

I've been coming here for years - never as often as I want! I wish they would open another in Astoria. Food is always fresh and tasty. The staff is always friendly.
