We visited Casa Enrique for brunch one Saturday morning expecting great things. Alas, we didn't get them. My huevos con mole was ok but the eggs were over cooked. My wife's huevos rancheros was slightly better but she was still a little disappointed. In fact, she said my homemade version was much tastier! We were expecting an explosion of flavours... More

I really don't like it when the mains show up at the table when we haven't even finished the starters. Big big mistake for me. That said, fantastic guacamole, great margaritas, perfect ceviche...

Excellent food without a pretentious atmosphere. From the guacamole starter to the brunch mains - every dish was a complexity of flavors that words will not do justice to describe. All of the delectable dishes that exit the kitchen are served in a simple, clean, modern, and small dining space that makes more tangible the special quality of the dining... More

Went with friends and shared a few dishes. They were all excellent, we started with Guacamole & Chips and the Guacamole was superb, we then share 2 orders of tacos. One was brisket and the other was pork. The brisket was tender and well seasoned as was the pork. Of course we had a glass of tequila which helped. Entrees... More

Do NOT go to Casa Enrique ! (I'm really just joking) If you ever want to eat in another Mexican restaurant again. This place will scar you (in a good way). I fully understand how Casa Enrique earned a Michelin star. Case Enrique is located in Long Island City, Queens. A very easy subway ride from Manhattan. Bucking our normal... More

The decoration is quite basic so don't expect a fancy place BUT the food is absolutely great and the service extremely friendly, they take time to explain you the menu and our opinion afterwards. Highly recomend Rajas con crema ! also the Chile Relleno, Enchiladas Mole and the Mole de Piaxtla..impossible to resist to their pastel tres leches and ice-cream.... More

This was a memorable place, with excellent food and margaritas. By far the best Mexican food I've ever tasted. Service was efficient and friendly, and the whole evening a success.

The food was very good, maybe not as good as in Mexico (eg the spicy food was not really spicy), but delicious anyway. Nice vibe as well!

The food is really terrific. We are from the Boston area but our daughter and son in law and baby live here. Easily the best Mexican I have ever had and after traveling for business for 40 plus years, and eating out constantly I have to say...this is great. Low key atmosphere. Ok service. Food and drink excellent from every... More
