This place is amazing. Great empanadas and coconut mojitos. Fish tacos are also best in Long Beach!!

This place has amazing food! Either you want a quick bite like a sandwich (my favorite is tirado de vaca) or you want to have a great mix grill dish cooked to perfection! The margaritas and mojitos are to die for! They are made with real fruits and soooo fresh! It's a must try!!!

Hi guys,I'm back with another humble review,i visited this cute place in Long Beach, the empanadas were spot on,nice and moist,I also was very impressed with the "sandwich cubano",not everybody knows how to make one,the prices aren't bad",however, the service is slow, and to me, It lacks "that Caribbean Cuban vibe",if you are looking for ambiance and a relaxing dinner, this is no... The food was rather good except the service was a bit uneven. We were a party of seven and one person received their dinner much later than everyone else and it wasn't taken off the bill. We also ordered a dessert tray for eight people that basically had enough dessert for five. They need to try a bit harder.

We went here for a second time and WOW was it great! This time we stayed with Apps and went with a pork theme that did not disappoint. The corn on the cob they serve is different and the flavor was excellent. It has a mayo/cheese smear on it that taste better than I could have imagined. The seafood ceviche... More

Stopped by for a quick dinner after a beautiful beach day. Upon sitting down we alerted Danielle that a person in our party had allergies to shell fish. She made sure that all the staff knew prior to service. All the staff were accommodating and thorough with safety precautions throughout the dinner. Danielle, who is so beautiful and elegant and... This two-level restaurant has great decor, good light, if you are in the main level bar area (big doors open to outdoor, streetside, eating area), and is very loud for some reason. The hits were: terrific conch fritters in a sweet and savory sauce that was so flavorful that I wished we had more. Cacerola de queso was equally good,... More

Great little Cuban Restaurant right near the Long Island Railroad Station. Not very fancy but good food. We shared all three dishes for a late lunch. Started with Grilled Steak Bocadillos which was thinly sliced and very tasty with a spicy dipping sauce on the side. We followed with a salad "Long Beach Salpicon which was a salad filled with... Nice restaurant. Very crowded on weekends. Need reservations. Excellent food. Weak mixed drinks. Super service.

Have been here for dinner a number of times. Usually the food is great, though on occasion the meat can be overcooked. The ropa vieja is delicious, and their mojitos are SO good - love the pitcher of mango mojitos for the table to share!
