We had breakfast before a canal tour. The place was steadily busy but not crammed, and the service was fine. They make good potato pancakes, which can be substituted into breakfast plates - yummy. Sorry I failed to take a photo. I recommend one instead of hash browns or home fries.

Perfect place to make friends at Toastmasters' meetings every Thursday. The servers are great, the food is excellent, and the prices are reasonable! Very comfortable atmosphere

A great little place to grab a nice homemade breakfast, lunch, or dinner. Staff is friendly. Atmosphere out of the 50's. You won't be sorry if you stop in. Close to the Erie Canal if you'd like to take a look.

We love to try local favorites, so we headed to Tom's for breakfast before out boat ride on the canal. So glad we had plenty of time because it took a half an hour to get our food, which is quite a long time for breakfast. Maybe it was because it was October & tourist season basically over or maybe... Toms is like stepping back in the past! From the interesting paintings on the wall to the homemade food. The portions are large and the quality never disappoints. I like their soups, club sandwiches, Friday's fish fry and their huge omelets! Yum! Toms is only opened for breakfast and lunch hours though. Come eat and then walk off your great... More

Had breakfast here last week and was slightly disappointed after having read so many great reviews. It is a very quaint little place and we loved the decor. Our waitress was pleasant and attentive but, not overbearing. I had two eggs over easy with ham and homefries, all quite delicious! The homefries were just about perfect, in fact. My wife... More

Tom's serves are really good breakfast, with numerous choices. Various omlettes, pancakes, and potato pancakes. They have good sandwiches for lunch. A real diner feel. The artwork of the 50's-60's is cool to look at

The place fills up quickly for breakfast so you may have to wait for a table. Food is good and the cost is reasonable. Had eggs, potato pancake, potatoes, corned beef hash and sausage patties. Potato pancakes were really good, eggs were cooked well, potatoes were good corned beef hash was tasty. The sausage patties were solid like hockey pucks... More
