First time ordering from here...I catered food for my daughter's Communion. The food was all ready at pick-up time and hot. My family commented on the delish smell and the delicious taste of the food. Though all options were well received by my family, the...baked clams, calamari, and chicken parmigiana were at the top of the list of great comments from my family. Tito provided great customer service from ordering the catering food to the date of it being ready, HOT for pick up. Great experience!More

Really, got two drinks and waited over an hour, nothing else was served, no salad, appetizer, entree that was enough and left.

It's a shame. This restaurant used to be wonderful. We went there for years before covid - always with 8 or more people. The head waiter, Carlos, is fantastic. The other waiters and busboys were always great too. And the owner used to be good....And the food and entertainment - was always good. But it obviously is no longer a place to go to. I have been calling to make reservations for a party of 15. I've left messages for a couple of days. I called AGAIN tonight - and I got a lovely young lady who tried to help but couldn't. Then I wanted to speak to the owner. And I did - and he basically suggested that I was lying and never called and left the messages when, in fact, I did twice before tonight's call. Note that, almost always, every time we were there we would grossly over-tip everyone - the waiter, the bartenders, and even the busboys. The tip would be over 35% each time. We USE TO love that place. It's an an abomination to suggest that a long-time customer would be lying about leaving messages. So now - we cannot go for the birthday party that we had planned. And now, 15 people who were to have the party know about this - and will never go there again. Especially, in these times, you would think a business would be on their game when it comes to customer service. But, no, not here. Certainly not anymore. So - thanks for the past - but the past is the past. And our group will never darken the doors of that place again.More

The website still has placeholder text on it, is not easy to navigate, etc. when I made a reservation for the next day and then showed up, they were on vacation for the next few days! How does that even happen?! I whole restaurant goes...on vacation but still lets you make reservations?! Terrible practice. I will never eat here again.More

We went with a group of 8 for dinner. When we walked in there was a bday party going on and a small wedding reception. Along with a singer / guitar player. Due tot he 2 parties and music we had to scream at each...other to speak. The service was slow, food was warm at best and, just average tasting. If we go back I certainly will ask if there are any parties going on - if there are, I would go somewhere else. Good luck..More

This is about Goccia D’Oro 2 on Montauk Highway...same owners We were a party of 6 & initially all seemed well, unfortunately shortly thereafter one issue after another. I ordered a glass of Pinot Grigio & it tasted bad, our server was polite & replaced...it with another glass from a “fresh bottle” I asked for the brand & he said it was home made...how long was the bottle open to go bad? 2 people in our party ordered a chicken dish & were served a different veal dish.. they did make the dishes that were originally ordered but everyone else had their dinner for a while before their correct dinner was served ...& when the bill came we were originally charged for the veal dishes...really??..if you make 2 people the wrong meals you would think you would make sure we are not incorrectly & over charged. I had told our server of food allergy issues ...gluten & garlic & was assured the chef could make my dish, chicken Marsala without these ingredients & asked again when it was served..”no gluten & no garlic?” & was told yes. I was about a quarter into my meal when I find a large slice of garlic ..they apologized & offered to make me something new but by that time I was done. Also, there was a musician playing who a number of tables asked to lower the volume so we could enjoy a conversation & the musician would turn the volume up several times to only be told again to turn it down. Background music can be nice but when you go to dinner with friends you want to be able to have a conversation. Our server made a point to tell us they didn’t charge for my meal that they took back but no other discounts were offered for the mistakes that were made & at no time did we see a manager or did anyone come to apologize for the problems. This is unfortunate as the place seemed to have such potential. Needless to say we will not return & can not recommend anyone else go either.More

We will blame servants and lack of manager visit. Food was decent, not great. 1. Waiter inept. Kept pushing appetizers. My wife got a Pinot Grigio wine - it was horrible, she returned it. They came with another from fresh bottle - ok. CHECK LISTED...TWO WINES! 2 Party of 6, two of us ordered Chicken Sinatra. both of us got Veal Sorrentino. We sent them back, got our correct meals when the other 4 were done! CHECK LISTED THE MORE EXPENSIVE VEAL DISHES! 3. Waiter apologized, but we all expected a visit from the manager - nothing. 4. Saturday night solo singer- eh. We asked , and others asked, for him to lower the volume. He did, once, but we certainly saw him raise the volume a song later. One of the worst outings we ever had. We would never go back. PS. Been to D’Oro 1 for lunches - really good.More

Have eaten there many times. The spinach salad is the best I’ve ever had! The service is always perfect. Even if there is a wait- WAIT! It’s worth the wait! Service is fast and it’s a nice reasonable night out!

We were there last night. First off I g Have to compliment the server. Brian was polite ,attentive and thorough. The appetizers were the fried calendar arabiata, stuffed mushrooms and baked clams. All were perfect and delishious. My wife had the seafood risotto. It was...good but the mussels were not. They were clearly not fresh and had a bad taste. I had the linguini with white clam sauce. Plenty of clams but the sauce was a buttery mess. I wouldn't order it again. Other family members had different veal dishes and said they were great. When all is said and done I would go back and try other dishes.More

I don't believe that they have a delivery service; however their take-out portions are amazing. Several times I've phoned in orders, picked them up, and have never been disappointed.
