Stopped by on a cool spring day, knowing that during the summer this place is packed with people, we were pleasantly suprised to see just a few customers and plenty of open tables. Took notice that their signature sandwich "The Haystack" was featured on Man...vs Food. The haystack is jam packed with meat and cheese and they offer a foot long version.
We had some haystacks, hot dog, fries and onion rings. The food was up quickly and was delicious. Looking forward to another visit. Enjoy!More
Delicious food, superior customer service, and generous portions at reasonable prices. Atmosphere is great, being located right on the Niagara River. Also enjoyed the uniqueness of the location and historical background. Definitely worth a trip if you’re in town!
We were on a food tour and this was first stop cool place round building overlooks the water we tried the haystack sandwich it was delicious and I'm not a rib eye steak lover, had great flavor and was topped with crispy shredded home fries...OMG YUMMY.
They have a pretty good menu a bit pricey but the portions are huge.....and when you finish your dinner there is a caboose you can get an ice cream at and sit at one of many tables to enjoy the day or watch the sunset depending on what time you are there.
I was impressed I have lived in the area my entire life and had never eaten there was pleasantly surprised. You get a great view of the river while there, however we were told it's very popular and some days the line to order gets very long, a must try for sure I enjoyed it for sureMore
The hamburger was very thin yet the inside was rare. Didn't eat much of it. The hot dog was barely warm sitting in a roll whose bottom hand torn so that it was in 2 pieces.
The location is beautiful. They have added plastic tables...and benches to their array of picnic tables.
Today was the first good weather week end day and a holiday to boot. Long lines for food and at the ice cream caboose. Nevertheless We are not sure we will eat here in the future, particularly when the border re-opens.
Parking is on city street and lot.More

Hi there, I am so sorry to hear about this experience! It sounds like you caught us on an off day as our focus is having outstanding food quality. Did you bring this to a manager's attention so we could make it right for you?...More
Had the Silo Burger today. It was cold, dry and slightly thicker than a quarter. 1 lil slap of lettuce, a dab of mayo & oops, they forgot the cheese.
After so many years going here this was a huge disappointment. And not to mention,...1/2 of our order was wrong!
Maybe we should just stick with the ice cream, can't go wrong there.More

Beautiful location and atmosphere. Waited 30 minutes for two burgers, their signature haystack and a grilled salad. Burgers were tasteless Nd cold. Salad was at least fresh. Haystack was different but enjoyable. If you wait 30 minutes for food and ou 55$ should be at...least decent.More

These guys have it down to a science, it was run very efficient! Has plenty of seating overlooking the Niagara River. The food wasn’t bad either. Mostly burgers, dogs and sausage. Nothing fancy. But you definitely have to stop here.
