Compared to "The Orient" or "Orient Odyssey" which are not too far away in the north , the dim sums here are cheaper than by $0.2 to $0.5 approximately (in Mar. 2023). And the dim sums taste almost as good as those in "The Orient". For me, the "Preserved Pork and Egg Congee" as a mid-size dim-sum ($4.25) is about the best deal (though it's a small bowl). It also has a few dim sums that "The Orient" and "Orient Odyssey" may not have.

We stopped in for dinner before the movie. Just about every table was taken. We wanted the Duck Mince in Lettuce cups for appetizer and although they normally bring everything at once, they did serve us this as our appetizer before any other dishes arrived. Lucious. We later had peking pork chops, string beans with pork morsels, and a whole chicken with minced garlic (which was juicy, crispy and gigantic). Although we 6 had planned on ordering two more dishes, we were stuffed. Good meal.

Every year for Chinese New Year, many Chinese restaurants are celebrating their festivities with a traditional lion dance performance. Some restaurants just do it better than some. My personal pick has been Fortune Wheel for this special time of the year. Make sure you make reservations cause once their tables are all booked out, it's next year for you...capeche? Gather your friends or family and reserve a table for 10 cause more is merrier. Their food is outstanding, authentic Chinese cuisine, well prepared, reasonable prices so the value is there, but most of all quality of food and fast service tops it over why I believe FORTUNE WHEEL takes full honor. Please bring your red envelopes filled with lucky money and give them to the staff cause they work so hard all year round. It's a wonderful way of saying how much they are appreciated. Happy Eating and I'll see you at the next Chinese New Year's 2021. P.S. Get their Peking Duck! Delish!

Nadi Mabir 11 reviews·6 photos just now NEW I am beyond angry at the way these people show their prejudice today - blatantly infrint of my face. We were the only people persons in the lobby. After about 5 minutes an Asian family of the same about of people as my party walked in and was seated ahead of us. I decided to let it slide then another family walked in and the workers sat them down as well. When I said something to the worker, he said they are large groups and I showed him that he was lying. If Asains want respect, they need to give respect. Mind you we were the only different people group. These ppl racial profiled us right infront of our faces and we can't say nothing. This is not the way to do business

There are not many restaurants that serve authentic Chinese dim sum food like in the areas of Queens (Flushing, Elmhurst, & Little Neck). Yes of course you can venture out to Manhattan's Chinatown and spend on parking more than your average meal. You can now even got to Brooklyn's Chinatown area and find great dim sum & culinary delights there. Parking can be rough there as well and who wants to fight the traffic on the Belt Parkway? What's amazing in NY is that sooner or later your culinary desires seems to show up near you. Somehow Long Island businesses has been slow to build up dim sum restaurants. What is dim sum, you might ask? For those who are in the dark ages regarding dim sum. It is translated to "touch of the heart". No, no one is going to invade your personal space:-)haha it is a Chinese form of brunch where typically heated cart/wagons are wheeled around loaded with small plates/metal steamed containers of assorted appetizer sized food. Chinese people love to eat dim sum and gather as family to dine this way every weekend(served only during lunchtime), hence it's like a Chinese brunch but no Mimosas or Bloody Mary's. The choice of beverage is tea (usually about 4 to choose from). Be in the know and ask a Chinese friend to explain to you the nuances/etiquette, so you can fully enjoy your dim sum experience. Chinese New Year's coming up so it's the perfect time to go dine. In Nassau County, there are basically 3 Dim Sum restaurants and tops the list is FORTUNE WHEEL in Levittown. They have been here for many years serving up true well prepared Chinese food and dim sum on the weekends at its best. There evening dinners are also high quality. Now don't expect fancy smancy style food but realized good ole home cooking is what it is. So leave your suit & tie, cocktail dresses at home and put on your eating clothes for that's why you come. The restaurant is off Hempstead Turnpike in Levittown between BJ's & BestBuy. Fortune Wheel was there before these big stores came. No.2 is ORIENT ODYSSEY in Jericho and No.3 is The Orient in Bethpage. Both are decent for dim sum and there's plenty of parking too. Happy Eating and I'll see you around the table.

Ten of us visited this restaurant, for the first time for Brunch, on Sunday. It is a small and unassuming place, until you get inside. The decor was typical Chinese and very lovely. They had a large staff and we were there for the Dim Sum. There was a woman pushing a cart with all kinds of hot delicacies. I felt like I was in Chinatown and not Levittown. All the different Dim Sums, dumplings, buns, tarts, spring rolls, shrimp balls, beef meatballs, etc were delicious. The waiters were attentive and bought us different sauces and refills for our teapot. Prices were not that bad. We will definitely come back here.

Although this restaurant caterers to Asian cliental, one would assume that the food would be excellent. However the meal that we ordered consisted of fried dumplings,, wonton soup, a chicken dish with greens, and fried rice. The opinion of all four of us diners was that it was tasteless . We agreed that it was not worth the visit.

I was here years ago and found this restaurant excellent. I was going to a movie near by and stopped the have lunch with my wife. I have to say the food was not as good as before. I had Generals Chow Chicken and the sauce was very salty. My wife had crispy Chicken and it was far from crispy. I spoke to the owner and he said he has owned the place for over 20 years, so it must be the cooks. Prices are good a lunch special is about $10 dollars, which includes soup, entree, white or fried rice. Will try one more time.

We came here for dim sum on a Friday. It is a treat for me to get dim sum since I live in Williamsburg and the best that you can find is either in Virginia Beach or Richmond. First, Fortune Wheel sells bubble tea - I had a coconut drink w/ tapioca pearls for only $3.50 - pretty reasonable and the tapioca pearls were freshly made, soft, and not too chewy - they definitely know how to make bubble tea. You order dim sum using a menu, we had seven plates between us - two orders of har gow (shrimp dumpling), shrimp rice crepe, fried turnip cake, Chinese spare ribs, chicken feet, and fried taro dumplings filled w/ ground pork. All of the various dim sum plates were very good. I was very impressed w/ the shrimp rice crepe, Fortune Wheel used very large shrimp inside of the crepe, usually the shrimps are pretty small. I would have liked to have tried their rice congee & sticky rice in a bowl but those are only available on the weekends. We were quite full and the bill was less than $29 (tax included). Service was excellent - waiters spoke English well and were attentive but not intrusive. The restaurant itself is not very big but clean and cheery. The restaurant must do seafood well - they had tanks of live lobsters and dungeness crabs. I would definitely eat here again. If you found this review helpful please click on the thank button below.

I've been here a couple of times and their food has yet to disappoint me! Their garlic fried chicken is OMG! Absolutely delicious! If you like garlic and fried chicken try this combo here you will not be disappointed! Hot and sour soup always delicious! Fried rice combos yummy! I've been here for dim sum which can be very very crowded! I enjoy some of the options here. I'm not a big fan of dim sum so I can't really comment on it. However friends I have come with for dim sum here really enjoy it! In reference to dim sum - If you aren't in a large group they will seat you with other people. For me and my BF no big deal but for others it might be. One time it was a tad annoying! Here we were 8 people total strangers being sat around a round table. One couple had a toddler who proceeded to run around the table. In a already crowded loud place this was just annoying! If you say no about sharing a table you will have to wait a much longer time for a table that seats two. Service could be way better!!!!! Sometimes they rush you where they keep coming back to ask your main course order as you are still eating your apps. I don't like my main course being brought out as I'm still eating my app. So we tend to order after our apps have been eaten. This happens in a lot of places but here they are just so much more persistent!!! Rushing when we are still eating our entree and the bill is placed on the table. No mention of dessert or if there's anything else you would like to order! Just a turn-off for me. Then you have moments where your server needs to be tracked down or orders placed with someone else because our server can't be found! I've come to expect less than great service here! I wish that would improve but still come only when I'm really in a mood for it. It's usually very crowded! It's located in a shopping mall so the parking lot is quite full! Such mixed feelings about this place because the service is really bad! I value good service so that's why I gave it a two rating. If the service was great it would warrant a 4 or 5.

My husband , my daughter & I usually go there to eat their dimsum for lunch. The prices are reasonable & dimsums are delicious. No problem with their service eventhough most of the staff speak in Chinese.
