We had a large party (10 people) for lunch. Many servers met our needs with place settings, pitchers of water etc., and our waittress took our order and brought us our lunch promptly. Portions generous. Menu offers seafood, prime rib, sandwiches and salads as well as large breakfast fare. Prices reasonable. Food was hot and delicious. Not a greasy spoon... More

Diner was close to our hotel so decided to give it a try. My husband ordered a streak and it came well prepared and was very tender - a good choice. I ordered the meatloaf without the mushroom gravy. Didn't realize I had to also specify 'no mushrooms'. Moved most of the mushrooms to my husband's steak so that was... More

Believe it or not, this was the best steak I had in a awhile. It was served with two fat mushroom caps on top and a yummy au jus underneath. The rest of the meal wasn't as great- canned corn, boxed mashed potatoes, etc. The salad was fresh and crisp but standard fare with iceberg, cucumber, tomato chunks. However, the... More

Extensive menu. Prompt courteous service. Reasonable prices and most dinners include a complimentary glass of wine. Chicken Francoise was delish!

Our first visit. We wanted a quick bite before my flight. It was late afternoon Sunday it was pretty quiet but they had ample staff on. I got the Reuben ($8) which came with terrific fries. A real bargain. My wife got the chili ($7) which was huge and didn't look all that great but she really enjoyed it and... More

This is good diner, but the food and service are average. I prefer a couple of other diners in the Albany NY area, which are much more upscale.

We stopped in last night for dinner @ 8:00 and had a very good dinner. Soup, salad, entree, glass of wine, for @ $15 each! How do they do it? My wife had the Beef Stroganoff and I had the Tilapia, both specials. Both really good. The soup must be home made. Italian Wedding and Lemon Chicken were awesome.

We visited on a perfect Sunday morning for a perfect breakfast. We were greeted and seated at once; our server came with coffee and returned in a bit for our order. Although it was a busy and full place, service was quick and efficient. Our orders came quickly and our eggs/sausage/homefries/toast/juice breakfast was simply delicious. Server came back to warm... I ate here because it was late, I was tired and my hotel was next door. It was adequate, and about what I expected. However, if you have te option, go somewhere else.

Very friendly staff and waitress. Food was not good for the most part. I had chicken Marsala and the chicken was not good quality. My father in law had an omelet which was ok. My wife had a Greek special which she did like. Both my father in law and I ended up getting sick and we both feel it... More
