we ordered the house oysters and escargot. as they are one of the things we love here. however they had changed the menu, and the escargot was served in shells instead of the lovely delicate puff pastry. also the oysters were served in shells as well with way too much bread crumbs, both very dusappointing.my daughter was questionioning the waitress... We are terribly sorry you had a less than ideal experience. We change our menus every 3 months and therefore, offer the classics in several ways. The classic way of offering escargot is in the shell with lots of butter and garlic. We offer our oysters two ways, baked or raw. Could not quite determine what occurred with the cheese... More

I purchased a Groupon for this place; it was for two entrees and two drinks on a weekday night. I had never been before but it received good reviews online so I thought it would be worth checking out. My fiancé and I went on a Thursday night and it was great. The décor and atmosphere gives it an upscale... More

A total scam . Purchased a groupon which did not indicate any limits yet bill came more than groupon would have. Never again .

We are terribly sorry you did not have a satisfying experience. Over the years, we have had over a thousand customers who have used a Groupon to dine with us. It has been a great way for us to find new customers who are interested in eating unique and interesting food. Not quite certain what you were expecting, but the... More

Top quality brunch, surpassing a lot of Montreal's spots... Awesome food, the lamb and ham was delicious, great pâtés and cheeses, fresh berries and the deserts... Wow! Definitely coming back for another brunch.

My husband and I decided to try dinner here for the first time since they were participating in Restaurant Week. Our dinner was FANTASTIC!!! We started with patè with the crunchiest little baguette slices and delicious patè. Husband has Coq au vin which he said was tender with a delicious sauce. I had steak tartare with cornichon and a frisée... More

Let me start off by saying that I am very easy going when it comes to going out to eat; it takes a lot to disappoint me...the Epicurean not only did just that, but they've also managed to infuriate me by trying to insult my boyfriend in a negative review he left about our experience on this site. How professional!... More

Nice space to relax and feel fancy in. For being in a mall it sure does not feel like it! Yummy appetizer type foods and wine selection is INSANE! A little loud and wished for some cushier spots to sit like the previous owners had...couches etc but overall nice spot. Classy!

food was bland and overpriced, service was awful. when I brought up several issues to the manager he acted like I was bothering him and didn't even apologize or try to fix anything. won't go back.

The Epicurean is an authentic French bistro, the only one in the Capital Region of New York. The Chef-owner is French Canadian. Our food is classic French with a Mediterranean twist...Provencal or North African spicing. There are many classic menus items such as Escargot, Frogs Legs, Steak Tartare and Steak Frites. The ambiance is casual. We are a Wine Spectator Award-winning restaurant with a 2200 bottle wine cellar with a significant offering of French wines. Our wine bar has an extensive selection of beers and a full bar. Come and dine with us and experience not an eating, but a dining experience.
