After doing some shopping, we enjoyed African Tea (yum), coffees and pastries in this clean and quaint little place.

Amidst many street vendors this clean and bright Cafe is a welcome sight on Main Street. The ornately carved doors beckon you to come in and have a cup of coffee. Or in my case as a non-coffee drinker, a refreshing smoothie. I had the privilege of eating here twice on my short stay in Jinja. The first time I... More

The plate sizes were huge, the food and coffee were delicious. The waiter was friendly & full of humour. We loved the gift shop.

We both ordered breakfast. Spanish omelet was good but hash browns very greasy and stuck together and would not recommend. Husband got the waffle which was dry and stale tasting. French press coffee was good. Sidewalk seating is nice for relaxing and people watching as it's right on Main Street. The place looks really nice from appearance but food did... More

Well... the place has the best accommodations in all of Jinja. I found the decoration and all pretty nice. The food is good. But the service is not the best, plus the never seem to have internet and light is an issue. In Africa you always look for a place to hide from the sun and recharge phones etc... this... More

This seems to be the place to go for coffee and food. Centrally located in downtown Jinja, they have nice inside and outside seating with good food and drinks. A gift shop sells the usual stuff as well as some coffee mugs that are overpriced but show you have been there and have a nice heft.

I ordered a cheeseburger and it was fairly lame. Not even on a bun but on toast. No lettuce etc. I wouldn't recommend it. My wife had chicken and chips which she liked. The lattes were decent. Be prepared to pay for parking on the street. If you are Muzungu (white) they may ask you for 5,000 shillings, but protest... More

A very nice cafe with honest and good people working there. Also have attached a nice gift store where the prices are reasonable. Parking can be a pain but it's better than in some other parts of Jinja. Closed Sundays and only open on weekdays until around 5pm.

The best chocolate cake (no frosting, it did not need it) and wonderful coffee. Also a great place to meet and socialize. Awesome internet access and a delightful staff!

Simple menu, but delicious food. The service was a bit strange though. The service staff are not in uniform, so its impossible to know who is just a local visitor and who is your waiter. Also, they were laughing and talking in groups of 6-8 people, and were occupying customer tables. I couldn't sit outdoors, because the wait-staff had occupied... More
