This is a hugely popular place so be aware that there are frequently long lines to order, with minimal seating once you get your food. As a vegan desiring a sandwich, all I saw was hummus & veggies. Out of 46 sandwiches, I would hope for at least a few options, perhaps something like chickpea-of-the-sea or tempeh reuben. Once I... More

A lovely restaurant for breakfast, offers a variety of sandwiches, crepes (both savoury and sweet), breakfast burritos and other different options. The food was delicious, the prices are good and the vibe was great. Highly recommended.

We had late breakfast/lunch before hiking. So many choices..... And everything was good. I had a grilled veggie sandwich and my husband a grilled veggie crepe. Both very, very good.

Don't be fooled by the appearance of this place. The food is fabulous. I had a breakfast panni which was one of the best breakfast sandwiches that I have had. My wife had a sweet crepe which was excellant. If you like breakfast or are looking for a great sandwich you must stop here.

We had asked a parking lot person where he would recommend for lunch. Without hesitation he said "Big Mountain Deli" and he described where it was. You can tell the minute you walk in that this is where you want to have lunch! The sandwich menu is the largest I have ever seen as are the sandwiches. 10 minutes after... More

Stopped here for a quick mid day bite. We did not want a huge meal and each chose a savory crepe. It was delicious! There was also an extensive sandwich menu. The service was fast and the food was delicious.

Stopped for a quick lunch. I had the Haystack and highly recommend it. Tomato basil soup was perfect for this cool rainy day.

My husband and I enjoyed the whole vibe of this little lake placid gem! We enjoyed watching The hustle and bustle of this lovely little Olympic village from our window seat! The food was fast and amazingly good!

While you may not like the sandwich that corresponds with the peaks you climbed, I can assure you that you will find a sandwich that appeals to you amongst the 46 on offer. If there is a drawback then it's the fact that you may have to wait 10-20 minutes for your sandwich as this is a very popular place.

The Deli is definitely a happening place in the area. The sandwiches and salads are very good. The only challenge is the place is so busy, seating is limited, and they close at 2. It is worth the wait and you can get your food to go and enjoy it in the sun.

Thank Misty K
