Location was great as it was walkable from our hotel. As there was a 30 minute wait the front desk did a nice job keeping people moving and advised of the readiness of the table. The waitstaff was attentive. The menu was varied and we...enjoyed our hummus and vegetable wraps. Reasonable price point. Solid choice.More

We got seated right away. Our waitress came to our table and stared at us. We ordered what we wanted to drink & eat. It was served quickly. Our waitress didn’t come back at all to see how anything was or if we needed anything....I had to flag her to get our check. It was pricey but good. We did get a lot of bacon but my husband would have liked more than one piece of toast.More

Stopped in this morning for breakfast before heading back home. It is a nicely decorated restaurant and tables are nicely spaced out to allow for social distancing. It is the only place since restaurants have reopened in 3 states that I have eaten in that...asked I sign in and provide a phone number, I guess they take contact tracing quite seriously, hope they are as serious about organizational filing of those papers. The food was average, and I know I’m in a tourist area, I’m still going to say a bit overpriced for what you get. $27 for 2 breakfasts and 1 coffee. I had a breakfast wrap (scrambled egg, a little bacon, too many potatoes and cheddar- no accompaniment and it needed ketchup); my spouse had 2 eggs with home fries, sausage and 1 piece of toast. Oh well, basic breakfast just a tad pricey. The server was not super friendly, and when she dropped off the check it was kinda like a drive by.... she dropped it and never stopped walking or said a word. No reason for me to go back or you to go in. Definitely better options in the area.More

We spent 3 nights in Placid and spent our evenings at the bar. Tony the bartender was the best, drinks were delicious the knowledge of what to do where to go was spot on he made our nights enjoyable. We had breakfast one day And...was excellent I had the wrap could only eat half the wife had the avocado toast and said it was delicious. For dinner the next night the fish was awesome for me and the wife’s steak was great and I got to finish for her.More

Breakfast was served cold, never got coffee refills and was too expensive for the quality we received.

We went to this restaurant after being disappointed with others on Main Street. Our waiter Michael was wonderful. The food was excellent and arrived timely. We were so pleased we found this gem!

In common with most restaurants on Main Street the dinner menu is heavily sandwich based. Outdoor dining on the roof deck and good service and decent food. Not that much of a wait relative to other places and also much better quality and better price...point than the nearby Cottage albeit without as good a view.More
