Went there with my family and ordered an array of dishes from vegan food to burgers and desserts. Everything was tasty and the service was great. Great place to stop by for our annual family vacation!

Upon arrival to Lake Placid we met up with our family for lunch. The food was excellent and they have a great selection of beers. We enjoyed the service and atmosphere so much we returned one evening to have drinks on the roof. I highly recommend Dancing Bears to everyone and will definitely make this a stop when I come... First off I want to say that our server was fabulous he did a great job. My son ordered the New England clam chowder, I tried that and it was very delicious. We also ordered 10 piece wings half garlic Parmesan half mild those were OK. However when we decided to splurge for the filet mignon with crab on top... More

The service was excellent. The French onion soup was tasty. The wings were good. The kids menu was somewhat limited. The prices were reasonable in a pricey town. Good job.

It was a beautiful night when we ate here. I was glad we requested a table on the roof. The food was good. Happy for some vegetarian options. Good drinks. Service was a little slow, and they seemed confused, frequently delivering dishes to the wrong tables.

Great little restaurant for breakfast, lunch or dinner! Food is always fresh, and service is great. Menu has recently changed from last year, with some new additions but we were missing the old turkey burger with the cranberry relish and avocado! Definitely bring that back!! Hockey memorabilia all over the walls, with some signed pieces from the players of the... More

Food and service used to be GREAT but having been there 3 times within the past 3 weeks, I can safely say it has become average. Our favorite foods on the menu included their selection of fondues and their homemade potato chips. Both have been dropped from the menu, as well as a few of their other delicious selections. They... To be honest I was very disappointed! I used to love this place and go at least twice every time I visited Placid. The food was not good, service was ok, but the price was way too expensive for what we got! Almost $70.00 for 3 people who had burgers, sodas and a fried pickle app. Including tip, it was... More
