I love tasting a local bakeries offerings when I travel. So when I saw a bakery right on Main St in Lake Placid I had to try it. I ordered the chocolate chip muffin and maybe I just got the wrong item, but it was bland and on the dry side. I asked my husband how his chocolate chip cookie... More

Delicious turnovers, croissants, and Danish pastries. It's my regular Sunday routine to pick up some treats to enjoy with "after church" cup of coffee. Also muffins, cookies, scones, and beautiful special occasion cakes. Reiner is an old world baker. Make an effort to seek out this tiny treasure next to our old fashioned movie theater. You won't be disappointed.

Chocolate Chip Raspberry Scones and Chocolate Muffins are so excellent! No seating inside but I would go back for those two items alone.

Stopped in for a afternoon treat. We tried the Coconut Macaroons, Spinach and feta croissant, Cinnamon roll and sausage, egg and cheese croissant. The nice women behind counter heated everything for us perfectly. All were excellent and we will defiantly go back. A great place to get breakfast on run or afternoon treat. Glad we went in.

Was in the village for a conference and found this place the first night and decided to go breakfast. It was closed. It was closed the whole week we were there. No sign that anyone was away; just that it was open "most days" at whatever time. Found another bakery.

While the delights and treats are terrific and the place is clear do not expect special dietary needs to be accommodated they just sel scrumptious delights. If however you get up early to be there at 7:30 so you can get your day started you can expect that at times the opening time will be modified to inconvenience the customer... More

Every time I'm in the Lake Placid Area I make sure I pick up their Boston cream pie (it is freaking amazing). They are reasonably priced and you get very large portions. Make sure you bring cash because they do not take credit or debit cards.

We saw this cafe walking home from dinner. The menu sounded wonderful. Early next morning we walked back - the aromas of fresh baked made our mouths water. We ordered a ham & cheese croissant and a chocolate chip muffin and two coffees. Wait! there are no tables inside! There is one on the sidewalk just outside the front door... More

We stopped in here for some baked goods. This place was wonderful. Their food was great. We had bakery items. We bought a variety and enjoyed them all. Staff very friendly and prices were good. I don't live near here, but I would return if I did.

We stopped by the bakery while visiting Lake Placid. The first day we got there late and they had closed. So we went back the next day. The woman working in the bakery was very warm and friendly. We picked up a couple of items that we took back to our hotel and ate later that night! I had the... More
