Given all the great reviews, we must have gone on a bad day for the bakery. The coffee cake was dry and tasteless, and the boston cream was creamy but tasteless.

Stopped in for coffee and pastries during the Ironman. Wow! So many choices! My favorite was the “everything” croissant. Also the chocolate croissant and pecan tart were delicious. We also tried the coconut macaroon (great!), the apple cinnamon muffin (fine but other things were better),...raspberry linzer tart (pretty good), chocolate raspberry scone (also good) I also had a latte - very good. I’ll definitely go back!More

Best breakfast we had while in town for the weekend. We stopped in here after declining a 2 hour wait at another nearby breakfast spot... BEST decision we made!! Grabbed scones, muffins, bear claws and cinnamon roll... a couple cups of coffee and hit the...ADK chairs overlooking the lake at the town park. The baked goods were Devine, the coffee fueled us for our morning hike. This bakery did not disappoint! Definitely one of the food highlights of our weekend!More

Up from the Hood for the weekend. Strolled around Main Street early Sunday Morning and smelled some delicious baking going on. Walked around and found this Quaint and Cool Bakery. Yummmmm. So many items to chose from. I didn't know what to get, so I...plunked down some cash on top of the glass case and asked the Very Kind Lady behind the counter to fix me up a box to take back. She loaded up this box with many GOODIES..still warm and fresh. Super Yum..!More

We were in Lake Placid 1/13-17/21 and found this little bakery on the first morning. It is very small and no dine in area and Covid measures were taken, i.e. masks and only one party at a time allowed in to order. Coffee is made...per cup and offered Bold, Med or Light Roast at 8oz, 12oz and 16oz and also a variety of teas (there may be other drinks, but this is what we had). There are an assortment of pastries and breakfast sandwiches which were $4/each along with other type of dessert patries. We had blueberry and raspberry scones which were large and delicious. Also had a breakfast sandwich and apple muffin that were equally good. We would highly recommend this shop and will definitely return when in the area.More

Outstanding fresh baked pastries, scones, muffins and much more. Very friendly service and great coffee. Give this place a try if you are in LP. Check hours - open early morning to early afternoon. Varies by day.

We stopped here for a quick grab and go breakfast since we didn't feel like going for a full on big meal nor a bagel. We tried the chocolate croissant and the cheese danish. Both were good, though there wasn't enough chocolate in the croissant....They only allow one party at a time inside since it's a pretty tiny place. Check their hours before going, I think they are closed a couple of days during the week.More

We went here again and again and were never disappointed. This place is all that and a bag of muffins! Try everything but go slow.

Small place big flavors. We had ham and cheese croissants which are made with chunks of ham, no sliced deli meat here and some different cookies. The cookies we still warm enough where the chocolate chips pulled apart when breaking it in two.
