I enjoyed the gallery of old fotos more than the food, which was all right. Seemed to be the local expat-place. Was an enjoyable evening. Friendly and attentive service, rather basic interieur than classy or stylish.

Seafood was just average but the worst was the chocolate cake with ice cream that was tasteless! Disappointed for the price.

The wide cool entrance is respite from a dusty heat, opening into a verandah and greenery. Good range of seafood with a couple of chicken options that come with salad and chips and local dishes (siri siri -a succulent in a cashew and well flavoured...sauce). We had seafood and a cold beer which went well with it. It didn't seem like wine was an option although hard to tell-the service is sporadic and you may need to call into the kitchen from the bar to get a drink. Altogether a satisfying meal in lovely surrounds and great value.More

Very nice place and nice staff but the food offer is very poor the menu is not changing and not offering any special plates. They do not have sparkling water or coke at dinner. Crazy

I actually saw people order then go off for a swim. The WiFi was decent enough to pass the time. It really was worth the wait for the grilled fish of the day it was so fresh

The decorum is simple: few tables next to a swimming pool, TV, bar and souvenir shop. Great service and food. Fairly inexpensive, yet very good food.

Try the Tuna Carpaccio and the Smoked Marlin salad - both magnificent! A great meal which will be perfected by a good Vinho Verde from Portugal

I ate here one night with friends. The atmosphere wasn't great, the wifi wasn't working, but the food was quite good. My friend said his cocktail wasn't very good.

The hotel escondidinho , as the name indicates is well hidden behind an old colonoal facade. It is pleasant to stay there and it has a small walled garden.
