Our guide brought us here after our boat ride to the monastery. We had the fish cooked with veggies and spices in foil. Tender, delicious, couldn't ask for more.

My family and I had traveled 10 hours from Addis Ababa, so I wanted us to start our vacation off right with supposedly one of the best restaurants in Bahir Dar. I was expecting this place to be awesome in terms of atmosphere, service, and...More

Great views towards and over the lake. This is a touristic restuarant where a few locals go to impress. We had the foil fish which was fine , nothing to write home about however for Ethiopia it was different. Drinks are reasonable. Service was however...More

Location is a bit further out of town, we went in the evening, perhaps the view is nice in the afternoon but in the dark its not worth the trip. Menu was limited, over priced and very bland, dry food.

We came here specifically for vegetarian options (as listed on trip advisor) but they didn’t have a fasting menu nor many options. They ended up making shiro and vegetables with injera. Scenery was serene.

Great fish in foil, the Ethiopian dish we ordered was nice also. Probably would be nicer to come during the day, mainly because the driveway was quite long and dark so we were kind of forced to drive on the way back with their tuk...More

This place is advertised for the food and especially fish dishes. The fish served in a foil wrapping is nothing to write home about and you can get better from anywhere else. However, the garden by the lake is very nice, so I would recommend...More

Down a dirt track , the restaurant is about the views and garden/water ambience. It feels very settled with locals enjoying peaceful conversation amongst friends. The grilled fish tasted fine alongside the local beer. Waitresses are far more nonchalant than I would have expected. Overall...More
