Had heard some good things about the restaurant so we went on our first night there. Got seated right away. We all ordered, there were some minor substitutions, like potato or pasta instead of rice. 3 of the orders came out wrong. In one dish, there was a fly, another a hair. They took off 1/2 the order with the... More

We arrived rather late into Diamond Point, it was recommended that we try the Rain Tree. SO glad we did. We chose to eat at the bar, the ambience was amazing! The little bartender was nervous as it was her first day, but with guidance from the owner she did GREAT, forget her name, but she is going to do... More

We decided to try this restaurant on a whim. The location near but outside of Lake George Village gave us the convenience of close proximity but without all the crowds. The parking lot was a welcome change from the village parking spot search. The service was friendly and efficient. The atmosphere was relaxed and allowed for leisurely laughs with close... More

Hubby and I enjoy stopping in for a drink at their beautiful ADK bar, complete with the beauty and warmth of the aged log structure and stone fireplace. Family owned and run. Ask about the "secret" beer tap handle collection!

Do you want to feel like your boyfriend is making dinner to impress you? Then come to the RainTree. A homey, family atmosphere with food to match. I had the eggplant, my husband had the chicken marsala, both of which tasted like they came out of an Italian grandmother's kitchen. Yet, I still wished I had ordered the burger, which... More

Right across the street from our hotel but despite mixed reviews went there with low expectations. We arrived and waited 10 minutes before anyone acknowledged us. Finally the hostess- waitress came over and told us that she had no tables at that time but have a seat and when one opened up she would seat us but said if she... More

Family type joint. Really old school. Food is fabulous. Really really good pasta and meat dishes. Big portions really yummy. I finnished my lobster ravioli for breakfast people

This was the worst restaurant ever!!! We should have walked out after being served stale bread . I was served rancid applesauce as a side dish with my porkchop. We should have known when we saw fewer than 5 cars in the parking lot.The place should be closed down.

We have eaten at the Raintree a few times and will admit it's a bit better on a slow night. The one night we went a couple years ago when it was really busy, the waitress struggled and the kitchen was overwhelmed...and they admitted that. But we go to LG when things are not crazy and each time we have... More

We stopped in for dinner our 3rd night in the Lake George area. They seemed to have a moderate crowd, and we were eventually greeted and told to sit anywhere - we asked if we could sit at one of the tables on the porch and were told that was ok. After 25 minutes of no one coming out to... More
