The pizza here is yummy, and the environment is cozy and family friendly, We came here after two days at the nearby Great Escape Lodge and it was a welcome change! The staff was very friendly and service was quick.

We went for happy hour twice in one week. Connie, the bartender is a hoot. Have one of her Long Island Iced-teas (unless you are driving)! The clams are unexpectedly great. They were plump with absolutely no grit. My only complaint is that they did not serve bread to sop up the broth. My picky daughter kept begging for bites... More

My wife and I tried this restaurant because we never been before. This restaurant has the reputation of good food. Boy, were we disappointed. Worst dining experience ever. Our waitress Carol announced it's her first day and man did we pay for it. At every turn that we had an opportunity to enjoy our visit, we were let down. It... More

Went there in the early evening during Bike Week because of radio ads. Well, only the djs from the station must get the good service and food because it was pretty terrible. Ordered appetizers after we realized the people next to us had tried to order a few different items that were "not available" and hated the food they did... More

Driving past later in the evening we decided to stop in and give it a try. My wife got soup (turkey stew) and a half sandwich. The stew was warm, hearty and delicious. Her sandwich "was OK". I got the chicken parmesan. It was good and hot as well. Small tavern with a bar was good for us. We were... More

Have been hearing about The Blue Moose Tavern like forever on the radio and have just been able to find a logistical snippet of time to stop in my own on an early quiet Monday. Kudos to the hard working manager busy managing the drawer and training a new bartender. Had to however, beckon her over to share my take... More

Stopped in here since most of the restaurants were busy with Valentine's Day diners. While this place may not look like much from the outside (or inside), I really, really liked the staff here. If you see some of my comments on restaurants in the area, this is an issue I've found in a few places. This place was also... More

The place is a little divey, but it has great appetizers, and the bar was perfect for what we were looking for in January. They have draft beers with a couple of craft choices.

The bar staff is excellent and happy hour deals are great. Beers on tap for $2.50! Ordered some wings and they always come out great. Even though its a "locals" spot, visitors to the area always find a good discussion at the bar.
