23 family members dined at Bistro LeRoux last weekend to celebrate my Parents 65th Wedding Anniversary. Communication ahead of reserving was excellent as I addressed dietary needs ( vegan and severe nut allergy) . We were sat in the back room and the menu options accomidated the group between the ages of 20 months to 85 years old. Service for cocktails at times was a little slow but our 2 servers Chelsea and Miranda did their best to accomidate needs and assure everyone was satisfield . They were very organized and flexible with how we wanted to split the bill. High recommend the appitizer of Ahi tuna! Definetely would consider again

The food at Bistro LeRoux was absolutely exquisite! Every dish was a masterpiece, with flavors that burst on the palate. I was blown away by the quality and freshness of the ingredients. The flavors were perfectly balanced, and the presentation was impeccable. The ambiance was perfect for a romantic dinner or a casual night out with friends. The staff at Bistro LeRoux was incredibly friendly and attentive. They made us feel welcome and ensured that we had a memorable dining experience." Our Jackie, server was knowledgeable about the menu and offered excellent recommendations. I highly recommend Bistro LeRoux to anyone looking for a fantastic dining experience in Lake George. Bistro LeRoux is a must-visit for food lovers who appreciate exceptional cuisine and impeccable service.

Wonderful hidden gem of a restaurant in the Lake George area! Service was wonderful, from the moment you walk in the door being greeted and welcomed by all the restaurant staff. Our server was excellent and each part of the meal was delicious from cocktails to dessert. They have a gluten free guide to use when looking at the menu which was helpful and the server and kitchen was clearly educated in serving allergies. We had a wonderful experience. We split the short rib (highly recommend!) and the scallops. My husband enjoyed the tuna roll appetizer and said it was incredible. Other guests enjoyed the bisque and crab cake, both with great reviews. I had the pear salad to start There are several gluten free dessert options, we enjoyed the molten lava cake. Wonderful restaurant, service, food and experience. Great spot in the Lake George area!

Came here for birthday. Have been wanting to come for quite some time. Terribly disappointed. The service was slow. Dinner was very disappointing - surf and turf was mediocre at best and the short rib tasted like pot roast. One that any home cook could do a better job with. Overpriced bad food!

Will say only a little disappointed based on the servers and warm food. We arrived a little early for our reservation and seated promptly. Food was very good and service by Emmy was excellent. What was lacking was when the food was delivered it was warm and could have been hotter. The Tomato Cognac soup was only warm and the mashed potatoes with all of our entrees was warm not hot. The one issue that irked me and I know it’s not NYC but the staff serving the dinners were handing us the plates rather than placing them on the table. There was plenty of room and not a large table where they could not reach. This is all about proper training and if you want to be top notch these are the little things that matter to some of us.

What more could you ask for? Delicious food, impeccable service. You will feel welcome here from the moment you enter - kitchen and dining room staffs will greet you. Menu has something for everyone. I dined with toddlers, kids, teens, adults and seniors, all found something that suited them and the chef was willing to accommodate food allergies. That menu items come in either half or full size was appreciated - gives the chance to sample more items. From appetizers to desert - top notch!

Having read the outstanding reviews of the restaurant my husband and I decided we had to visit while staying overnight at the Lake George. The food was absolutely delicious. Our waitress was very nice and attentive. What is of particular import is the option of "half" or full portions of the starters, salads, and entrees. All these gives you the option of trying several menu items. All outstanding.

We are local people who have gone to Bistro Leroux in all seasons and we have enjoyed it in the past. Tonight was different. We had a 5:30 reservation and arrived on time. We were enjoying our drinks and meal when 1 hour and 20 minutes later our server announced that they had another party coming in at 7:00 and if we wanted dessert we could have it at the bar. Are you kidding? We had only been there an hour and 20 minutes. Since we were not going to have dessert at the bar we left. We will not be back.

I had a tough time finding the restaurant and began to regret my choice of places but I am glad I found it. I ordered for takeout but it looked cozy and comfortable inside. I rarely order hamburgers and fries and was pleased with the quality and size they gave, right down to the frizzled onions.

The restaurant has a very welcoming atmosphere and very kind and generous staff! We were seated immediately upon arrival and our waitress was respectful. We ordered two crab cake appetizers to start off with and they were absolutely delicious! Main courses were delicious as well. Will be coming back!

We made a reservation to have our anniversary dinner here. The food was very good. We enjoyed the mascarpone stuffed poached pear salad as well as the truffled pomme frittes as starters. We also ordered the french onion soup, but thought the portion size for the soup was small, especially in light of the $10 price. Both my wife and I ordered the short rib entree and enjoyed it quite a bit. I ordered the bread pudding for dessert and my wife tried the tiramisu. Both were good, but neither was exceptional. We also ordered drinks. We were a little disappointed that even though our bill was close to $150 for just the two of us no mention was made of our anniversary, which we had noted at the time we made the reservation. We were not seated at a special table, did not have "Happy Anniversary" or anything written in syrup on one of our dessert plates, and were not offered a complimentary dessert. All of the above have been done at other establishments, so even though the food was good we probably would not return.

Service was horrible and the food was not very good. We had the short ribs that tasted like bad chuck roast and the surf and turf that was dried out like it had been sitting under heat lams for way too long. Dinner took over one hour and forty five minutes. We spent the same amount the night before at another restaurant. That dinner was a hundred times better and that only took an hour.

This was our best dinner in Lake George- overall the food in the area is not great, but this restaurant was the best of the bunch we tried for sure! Cute interior, good service, adherent to social distancing guidelines. Very interesting menu options with decent portion sizes- my husband and I opted for the “half” entree portion sizes so we could try several different options. We choose 4 (thinking they’d be half the size since they were half price) but definitely would have been fine with 2-3 instead. The tomato soup was my favorite item (had a small cup, but would’ve devoured a bowel if it), followed by the dessert special (a pear pastry), then the braised beef (very tender, yummy hominy underneath), followed by scallops entree (great sauce, scallops themselves were just okay compared to other restaurants I’ve had), then pork (the sweet potatoes underneath were excellent!) and lastly lobster risotto (my husband and I found the lobster quite tough). The sangria I ordered was a bit overly sweet for my taste. Overall the food was enjoyable, good but not amazing. We ended up spending $150 but could have easily spent significantly less id we didn’t over order. We got to Lake George Sunday evening and just called a couple hours ahead and they had an 8 pm reservation. I would recommend this to anyone staying in Lake George!

Tired of fast food and chain restaurants? This wonderful restaurant sits on the corner of Bay Road and Rt. 149 in Lake George NY. The wait staff was terrific as was the food. They offer half and full sized portions and the half size was perfect with room for dessert. Reservations are a must. You won’t regret eating here and I would call it Fine Dining at its best. Great for a celebratory meal or just a night out with friends or family. Bistro Le Roux - Best meal out!!!!

Went here because of reviews and that it didn't seem to be a tourist restaurant. And, was not disappointed. Great menu, great flavors and textures, excellent service. Loved that you could get half plates, so that you could have a salad and an entree or two entrees without feeling overloaded. If you don't want to have bar/tavern food in Lake George, this is the place.
