My dinner and my husbands dinners were fabulous. We visit lake George once a year and make sure we eat at bistro le roux. I also love when I get a table with a birds eye view of the kitchen. Everyone is clearly talented and feverishly working away to make delicious meals. No microwaved in this place. So fresh. So... More

Summer brings the crowds with some lags in service; however, this restaurant is well-staffed with pleasant folks who work well together. We were seated promptly 15 minutes before our reservation. Complimentary Mionetto Prosecco was offered in recognition of our anniversary which we enjoyed as we waited for our salads. We appreciate the half plate offerings which allowed us to enjoy... More

We always dine at Bistro LeRoux when we visit Lake George. Excellent cuisine, attentive service, pleasing ambiance, great wine, and excellence in everything on the menu! Melissa, our server, made great suggestions and took great care of making sure we enjoyed our meal. We loved the goat cheese appetizer, lobster risotto, bread pudding dessert, and Riesling wine. One of our... More

We were tired of the greasy pub food in Lake George village. We read other reviews and made sure to call and make a reservation. It was a Tuesday so they could accommodate us that night. It is located kind of by itself about a 10 minute drive away from the village, but it is definitely worth it. The building... More

Upon entering the restaurant, we were greeted by the chef and owner. The place had such a warm and cozy feel. Each staff member was hospitalbe and pleasant. My husband and I have eaten in restaurants in Paris, France; Las Vegas, NV; Niagara Falls, Canada; Manhattan, NYC and several other places but let me tell you that this place exceeds... More

For several years, our family has eaten an end-of-vacation celebration dinner at the bistro. The food was always excellent, the service was always excellent, and we enjoyed ourselves immensely. The food was still excellent, but our visit was marred by circumstances. Our group of 7 was crammed into a 12x12 room with a group of 8 who were loud and... More

What a great place. We had reservations for 7:30 but the people before us lingered and we didn't get seated until 8 pm. Dinner was delicious. Crab cakes sushi was wonderful and fresh. Beautiful presentation. We ordered small plates for an appetizer which was perfect. We did the same for dinner. Lobster risotto was great. Delicately one of the best... More

Dined at Bistro LeRoux with my wife and 88 year-old father-in-law on a recent trip to Lake George. It was outstanding in al aspects - food, drinks, and service. It was so good, I complemented the kitchen staff. The cocktails were perfect. The appetizers, salad and entree were even better. If you like a nice quiet table, ask for the... More

More upscale than the tourist spots closer to the lake. Where locals go when they want a really good meal out. A little bit pricey but well worth it. Varied menu, fresh ingredients, beautiful presentations.

Fabulous evening in every way! Charming environment, friendly and excellent service, and the most amazing food! Everything we tried was perfectly cooked and presented, and even our pickiest eaters ( including children) were wowed! Also nice to be able to choose smaller portions if desired. Overall, a wonderful treat and highly recommended!
