We visited this Caffe this summer and the coffee and breakfast was amazing. The coffee is very fresh and hot, just the way I like it especially in the morning. The breakfast burrito is really tasty with lists of vegetables and amazing egg. Also it is made to order so it is also fresh and hot. The prices are very reasonable for the area and the location is central in the Lake George region. Definitely recommend Caffe Vero. Go and enjoy your mornings 😊👍.

Great spot for breakfast! My husband and I went here twice while we were in Lake George for 3 days- the homemade bagels, pastries (we tried a scone and a raspberry cream cheese pastry), and sandwiches were delicious! During COVID, it is counter service for ordering and you can choose to either do take out or get a table number and sit at one of the open tables of your choosing indoors (several are blocked off to enforce distancing guidelines). There are about 3 tables outside too. Service was friendly and quick and table turnover was relatively fast (get here early or be prepared to wait a little outside in the line- they only let a couple people inside at a time to order at the counter). Small inside and nothing special about the interior, but this was a great staple for us in a town of overall not so great food spots.

This is our go to place every Lake George trip. From the kind staff to the food, it’s exceptional every time. Breakfast is delicious, from HUGE delicious pancakes, to nice sugary caramelized French toast to the nice fluffy bagels, everything is so perfect. Do go in and Find something in the bakery case, all bake goods seemed to be outrages, especially the apple turnover and crumb donuts. You won’t be disappointed.

Stopped by here for a late breakfast on President's Day, and certainly wasn't wowed, but wasn't disappointed, either. Was seated along the side wall and quickly greeted by a server. Coffee for me, latte for the wife, milks for the boys. The boys drinks arrived swiftly with the coffee orders arriving a few minutes after that. We placed our order for food at that time. I ordered the sausage gravy with biscuits, she had an American breakfast, and the boys each ordered pancakes from the kid's menu (one with chocolate chips, one with sprinkles). The gravy was a bit salty, but otherwise tasty. The American breakfast was small for the price, but prepared well. The same could be said for the kid's pancakes. All in all it was a perfectly fine meal, just probably not worth the price paid, a calling card of just about every establishment on Canada St. Service was slow and not terribly attentive, but friendly. The whole time we were there, the take out counter was doing a brisk business, primarily coffees and baked goods. These items seem to be the highlights of Caffe Vero's offerings, so while I might not come back for a full breakfast, I wouldn't hesitate to stop in for a coffee and a muffin on the run.

We waited a long time outside before being able to order , we got two of their breakfast dishes which were served in a very small plastic plate that made the food look unappealing also their regular coffee is too strong for my taste. I am giving 2 stars because their muffins were very good. I will not return to this place in the future.

Servers are rude and the owner could care less. French fries were cold and the waitress said they just came out, told her to feel them as they are cold, she proceeded to slam the ketchup container hard on the table. I ordered an omelette with French fries so they brought over an omelette with home fries and another plate of cold fries. Owner just makes excuses for the staff instead of showing concern for the customer. I vowed not to go there several months ago but gave it another chance. Well no more chances for sure. Oh ordered a toasted bagel, bagel was put on the grill for 2 minutes not toasted at all

I have been going here for many years since they were a little place and through their location moves. The service and food were great. Due to the Pandemic all places had to re think their service. I had attempted during phase 2 and phase 3 to to go here. The way they are working this Deli Counter method was Acceptable, but now at Phase 4 with indoor seating allowed why is this deli counter method still being used. A dozen or so people all standing around . No one knows who is next ,people butting through ...then taking your order to a table cafeteria style WHY??? No Social distancing with 10-12 people all standing in the small waiting area to order and pick up. Perhaps i will return when they go back to the "old Waitress "format Such as shame.

My wife and I ate here for breakfast on 7/21 around 7:30am. We ordered 2 large cappuccinos, a chocolate croissant and a full stack of cinnamon/raisin french toast. After the order came my wife asked for 1 extra plate and 1 glass of water to which the male busboy pleasantly responded that he would get them. He proceeded to continue cleaning tables totally ignoring the request. My wife then went to the counter and asked for a glass of water and was directed to the cooler to purchase a bottle of water for $2.00. REALLY? Needless to say we would never give them our business again. The cappuccinos and croissant were very good but the cinnamon/raisin french toast was on incredibly small bread and underwhelming. Again, charging for 1 glass of water after purchasing a meal for almost $25 is just poor business.

I very much enjoyed the food, the coffee scone is beyond words. The coffee was decent, but its annoying that you need to go get back in line to order coffee, despite their being a food runner. I think for people staying in the Cafe, they'd do better to offer pots l, instead of making you order 2 or 3 coffees with your meal.

The food here is awesome. We really enjoyed the coffee and breakfast sandwiches we had. They were a little pricey for what we got, but both very tasty. When you walk in the place it’s not clear what you’re supposed to do. They should have a sign that tells you to proceed to the counter to order your food then they will give you a number. You choose your own table and they will bring you your food. I still am not sure if I was supposed to clear my own dishes or not..

Great value for breakfast and afternoon coffee in a place with a neighborhood vibe. We loved the fact that Vero itself roasted the coffee and made the bread and pastries itself. Due to a labor shortage, you had to order and pay at the counter and have the waitress bring hte food to the table. The baked goods were excellent. The waitress in the morning was sweet and thoughtful, but the barista in the afternoon was a tad cold and distant.

What a disappointment and what a waste of $22! They clearly do not know how to make a good bagel since they are as dry as the Sahara desert. Do not under any circumstances order the almond croissant… We ended up throwing it away since it had absolutely no filling and no flavor. There are definitely better options in the area.

You have to order your food first and then sit down. My husband and son had breakfast burritos and they really liked them. My daughter had an everything bagel and she loved it. I had an egg white omelette and they seemed to forget about. I got my food after everyone else was already done. It ended tasting good, thankfully. In face the toast was delicious. When I mentioned that I had not received my food, the server said "yes your omelette was delicious." We thought it was cute and funny at the time but he legitimately never looked into it and never came back to tell me it was coming out soon, or anything. I had to go up to the counter and ask about it. I was told it was next and then still continued to wait and had to ask for it again. So that was disappointing.

Ordered a breakfast egg wrap to go. The food was just okay, price was a little high, and the service was fairly slow. It was very busy on a Thursday morning so people must really enjoy it.

This has been our go to place when in Lake George. This visit was terrible. They added Lake George Ice Cream Company which took away for the seating and ambiance of this Cafe. We ordered our favorite Hazelnut Divinity latte in a mug, waited for it to be made, they made it in a paper cup and not a mug. Ordered the Rachael for lunch to split. The Turkey was only on one side of the sandwich and it was soggy. We’ve been coming here for years. To be honest, COVID has taken away the service and experience,
