Phenomenal French cuisine with great ambiance. The service is excellent and the food is even better. Highly recommended!

We were looking forward to a nice meal for our fifth anniversary and Le Canard Enchaine exceeded our expectations. The foie gras was outstanding--as good as the best you'll find in NYC--and the duck confit was perfect. Add to that professional friendly service and the cute but unforced slice-of-Paris decor, and this became the highlight of our visit.

Although very expensive compared to other Kingston restaurants, the food atmosphere and service are exemplary. Lovely for romantic twosome or special celebration meal. Relax and dine.

One of our sisters favorite restaurants in the historic city of Kingston, NY. We generally have a pre-fix menu variety of choices. The food is delicious and pastries are my choice of appetizer (Lol! I have an indulgent vice of cream pastries myself!) The duck is excellent and varieties of gourmet soup selections have that extra zing to just hit... More

This is the second time I had lunch here, after not going for a long time, thinking it would be too expensive. But lunch here is just about the same price as elsewhere but what a difference. It is like being in Paris! I highly recommend the salad nicoise - with freshly grilled ahi salmon. Now that they opened a... More

Great food and atmosphere. My french friend said it was one of the best meals he had ever. We walked in off the street, no reservations and were attended to promptly. Super wine list.

Excellent dinner for 3 tonight. Great drinks, staff and food. Had the black pepper crusted salmon, wife had the duck which she always likes. Friend had a vegetable special dish which she liked, Classy place for a nice romantic dinner. They have good desserts but we generally pass on them.

We enjoyed one of the nightly specials on our first visit. Food and service were great and we enjoyed visiting with the chef and some of his regular customers before we left. We enjoyed it so much that we stopped for lunch a week later on our way home from Albany!

For my taste Le Canard is the best French restaurant between NYC and Montreal. The food is exquisite, service perfect and atmosphere is lovely. They offer extensive specials in addition to their regular menu. It's always great and never disappoints. If your looking for fine dining in Ulster County Le Canard is your best bet!!

Fabulous meal. A must place to go! Small and quiet. Just might be the best place in town. After dinner we walked the old stockade area of uptown.
