Babalu is a small restaurant in Lucille Ball's hometown that is run by a husband/wife team of Lucy fans. The decor is cafe-style with plenty of Lucy and Desi memorabilia. Don't let the small appearance fool you. They also have room for a larger crowd in their banquet room. The food is delicious with a good variety. Each meal ends... More

Visiting friends in the area, and stopped off for breakfast before touring Jamestown. The pancakes were the best I have had anywhere in a long time. The owner was a very sweet person. Great food! Great service! Highly recommend!

We stopped by on Saturday for lunch after touring the museums. The owner was very friendly and the Lucy atmosphere was fun. It was a very clean, well kept diner. The service was fast, the food was freshly made and very reasonably priced. We were even served homemade fudge after our meal! Yum Loved it.

Was in town to visit the Lucy museum. Stopped at the Babalu Café for lunch, very glad we did. Walked in the door and was greeted with a smile and a happy hello, how are you? My mom and I both ordered burgers and home fries. They were one of the best burgers I had in a long time. Definitely... More

Babalu's is a fun place to eat at. The food is great, service is good and lots of conversation. All of the Lucy/Desi memorabilia is intriguing.

My husband and I came here for lunch to fulfill our appetite after walking all morning through Panama Rocks Scenic Park. We were greatly satisfied with the service which was warm and friendly, as was the atmosphere of the cafe itself. The food was delicious and reasonably priced. It's a must-stop for Lucille Ball lovers! We will definitely be back!

This place does not have good customer service. I asked for 2 eggs instead of 3,and I got less than 1 egg on my plate. When I asked they had nothing to say and weren't going to correct it. Very poor service. Wouldn't go there again.

Thank Brenda B
