Beautiful old manor house. I love the various dining nooks and different little rooms to eat in. The night got off to a slow start when we were immediately seated, given a menu and bread and then no server came by for close to 15 minutes until we asked for one. Our server apologized explaining that no one told her... More

Our group of 5 had a wonderful dinner here. The food was excellent, from appetizers to dessert. Service was friendly, prompt and efficient. The wine list focused on Long Island vineyards, but other areas were represented as well. Nice decor.

My daughter and I were going out east to an event at the riverhead aquarium, so we made it a point to stop here for lunch. My daughters wedding is going to be at Martha Clara Vineyards next year and the chef at the inn has a catering business that they use at the vineyard, so we wanted to try... More

Just a picture perfect location with quality food. It's a renovated 1800's home, you literally are eating in a house, like in the living room or den and there is a staircase leading to upstairs and the kitchen is where the house kitchen was. Very quaint, romantic for couples. Quality local food, all fresh. Long Island wines on menu as... More

We arrived early for our reservation and were seated with no problem in a lovely windowed alcove. It wasn't very busy yet so we had the full attention of our server. The food was delicious, I had the lamb, my friend had the filet mignon both cooked to perfection. It was a lovely way to end a day of wine-tasting.... More

We went here based on other trip advisor reviews. We had a reservation and we're promptly seated. As we walked towards the back, we were surprised by the unpleasant odor in the restaurant. All of us in our party noticed it and the best way we could describe it was that it smelled like an old person's home. We were... More

Who knew we had such a historic home in Jamesport? The Dimon family who lived here jumped into action during the Revolutionary war. And what do we do? Lets make their home a restaurant! Ah, its all good. It's cool to sit and have a meal where Washington probably used an outhouse. Bully! An accidental fire in 2005 closed the... More

We drove out to the North Fork of Long Island for an enjoyable sunny summer afternoon ride and found this place. Wow...it was superb. We had chicken salad, a lobster roll and profiteroles for desert and everything was excellent. The service was also very professional and exemplary. We look forward to returning. I highly recommend this establishment.
