Returned to this restaurant after many years with my grandson. The baked were excellent. My 19 year old grandson wiped the plate clean with his bread. We then shared the linguine with white clam sauce. Again excellent and again we both wiped the plate clean with our bread. Our entree was the chicken scaparella on the bone with added sausage,... First come, first served, small Italian restaurant with limited chalkboard menu. Food is served "Family size" with generous portion. The wait staff is friendly and professional, no credit cards accepted. On street parking only! Gorge yourself at a good medium priced Italian restaurant and save yourself the walk, wait, cramped area and cash. Go to Lenny's Clam Bar or Carmine's... More

This Cash only Italian Restaurant near JFK Airport is the real thing. The Baked Clams and Linguine with Clam sauce are out of this world. The Veal dishes are also superb. Bring CASH and lots of it as a dinner for 2 without drinks and desert will cost you about $100.

Good food but too rich for my blood. Can order what's on their board. Menu does not have many items that your other Italian restaurants have. Service was good - waiter was friendly. Street parking. Bring cash as no credit cards are accepted.

God, I loved this place. I was waiting for a flight out of JFK the next day and decided to uber to Don Peppe's. It was close to the hotel where I was staying. The driver took us in the middle of this sketchy neighborhood to Don Peppe's. There were about 20 very Italian-looking people waiting in the foyer. Every... More

This is an ectopic restaurant - if you're not sure what that means, it means something found unexpectedly out of place. You'd expect D.P.'s to be in Little Italy, but instead it's 5 minutes north of the Belt parkway in Ozone Park. You don't come here to admire the art work or the fancy linen tablecloths or floral centerpieces. You... More

The best homemade Italian food in the USA. Like Momma use to make. Great baked clams, veal, an incredible house salad...Awesome shrimp.

If you like excellent Italian food this restaurant is hard to beat. You will wait outside till your name is called, once inside it reminds you of a small school cafeteria. The lights are bright and the room is loud, if your looking for atmosphere you are in the wrong place. The only reason you come here is to EAT... More

Food was tasty but it was not easy to get a table. We had to visit an ATM and all of our party had to be together before we could get seated. No menu or wine list, everything is written on a large chalk board on the back wall

Service is family style. Great service. Even better food. Describe the entrees and how many they feed. Had a yummy time.
