You wouldn't expect a restaurant of this caliber in this neighborhood. This place would do well in a far more upscale location. We stayed overnight nearby, flying out of JFK the next morning, and we were so pleased to have had dinner here the night before our departure. I tried the collard green soup, rather bland. We both had the... More

Environment good. All the food we tried with good taste, seafood soup, shrimp, lobster, deep fried potato. Serving good. To us, the cost is reasonable. If the bread can be served hot, it will be better.

Dinner in Suburbia of NY. This Portugese restaurant is great for seafood dishes! The dishes were huge and delicious! Service was friendly and quick. The little baked clams were delicious! Definitely worth checking out if you're in the neighborhood.

We were in Queens for a business meeting and needed lunch. O Lavrador was a great find! The bar is charming with an Old World charm. There were tables in addition to seats at the bar itself. The service was great; the bartenders/servers were from Portugal, and had great suggestions for food and Portuguese wine. The food was all very... More

When I get to choose a restaurant for a special occasion (birthday, Father's Day), this is my first choice. Food (seafood especially) is fantastic and practically cheap by NY standards...Mariscada Verre and Mariscada Zaruela are full of seafood and only $22! My favorite though is the paella, also chock full of seafood served piping hot for only $22 or a... More

I dined at this restaurant via a Groupon I found. I can tell you without the Groupon the food and the service would be worth the prices they were charging. The Sangria is excellent as are the paellas. They even gave my 6 year-old daughter ice cream for dessert just because; no charge! Great food, great price, great service!!!

Ordered food for group of 35 hungry detectives. They can't stop talking about how great the paella and chicken were. The manager who took the order was very helpful and the food was hot and fresh when it was picked up.
