Food is tweaked into something special. There are regular menu changes which keeps it interesting. Tuna salad, not overdone. Good breads. Salads. Even desserts. Recent expansion has relieved the pressure to eat and run.

There are all sorts of excellent fresh bread and baked goods. I would usually get a bagel with toppings. There are hot dishes and soups, vegan, veggie if needed. I recommend their southwest sourdough bread.

Average ho-hum place. Low bar to clear for Ithacans; actually think the baked goods are, well, good. All the bread I've had tastes day-old; the bagels are less than acceptable. Deli items are the same as anywhere else.

This place rarely sells fresh food. The bagels are generally small and hard, big contrast from the warm, fluffy, and soft bagel from NYC or NJ. The scrambled eggs sold there are also tasteless. The pastries in display are hard, old, and taste really bad. I bought a cake from them once, and the cream is so hard that the... More

From the amazing sandwiches, hot foods and soups, to the cappuccinos and the fresh baked breads and rolls, you really can't go wrong at Ithaca Bakery. The selection is huge, so take the time to look around before ordering. Meat lovers and vegetarians will have plenty to choose from. Take home fresh bread and great cheese for later, and be... More

I live in the next county over from the Ithaca Bakery. But, every time I go to Ithaca, I try to stop in to the Bakery. They simply have the best sandwiches and desserts of any place around. The service is excellent and quick and the place is pretty clean. The only downside is that so many people go there,... More

Our food was good, fresh, and healthy. I had the open faced tuna sandwich on bialy. They were out of focaccia by 1pm on a weekday so my husband had his tomato and mozzarella on ciabatta. It was very busy- you can eat inside or outside. You order at the counter and they bring your sandwich to you. It was... More

The food here is extensive & the menu is large. I felt it was a bit overpriced for what we got. The to go line was a bit haphazard & we waited at least 15 minutes for our food, then they had to remake a sandwich that they didn't follow the request for. I'd visit again but would likely eat... More

Do this: order the Lox & Berries breakfast special. It's fresh, filling, and delicious! A unique combination of sweet and salty -- I loved it. Also, a nice refreshing ice hazelnut coffee. I grabbed a take-out sandwich to eat on a long drive -- turkey, horseradish mayo, roasted peppers, tomatoes, spinach, cucumbers, on sourdough bread. Wow! I didn't expect this... More

Love this place! Went for breakfast. Big Sur bagel was delicious. So was Bronz bagel and Ryan's favorite bagel. These were bagels with eggs, bacon or sausage. The sausage was unbelievable! So good! Eggs were dense and fluffy. Muffins were good too. They use many local farmers' products. Highly recommend!
