The worst sushi I've ever tried. I have sushi for dinner once a week on average. I was in town on business so I thought I'd give this place a try. The sushi smelled spoiled to the point I couldn't even finish it. Just horrible. Word to the wise if your takeout is packed with lemon, they're trying to hide... More

Recently I visited this restaurant with a friend. After reading the reviews that spoke of the maki rolls and food as being great we thought for sure this would be a winner. I can't stress enough that the maki rolls are a slight notch above the rolls that are mass produced and sold in grocery stores. No creativity in presentation,... More

First, we have been here before and enjoyed it every time. We were greeted by a very gracious young woman and seated. We haven't tried the hibachi yet but really enjoy their sushi and sashimi. There are so many wonderful choices so will be back again. Everything is always served attractively and with beautiful garnishes. Yes, good enough to eat.... More

if you haven't had hibachi before go try it. this place never seems crowded but don't let that but you off. and if you get the G because it's not crowded it has an intimate feel. It's a great place to take a date. they also have reasonable lunches and can make things to go.because

We dropped in for dinner at Tokyo Hibachi on a Sunday evening. There are apparently a lot of great dinner choices in Ithaca, but we wanted to keep it quick, simple, and reasonably priced. The restaurant was walking distance from our hotel. We were seated immediately (on the non-Hibachi side of the restaurant) and ordered the Ithaca Roll, two other... More

About once a month my wife and I get the craving for sushi. The Tokyo Hibachi is one of two of our favorites in the city of Ithaca. (A 15 mile drive for us.) We arrived on this recent Saturday afternoon around 5 pm and there was already a good crowd of diners. Our charming waitress, Amy, was prompt, courteous,... More

Six of us gathered on a slow, cold Monday evening at Tokyo Hibachi. We started with drinks at the large bar. The wine selection was somewhat limited, especially given that we are in the heart of Finger Lakes wine country. The cosmopolitan looked a bit translucent too. However, the criticisms stop there. We were promptly seated in the hibachi area... More

We walked over to this place from our room at the Super 8. I had read reviews and we knew of a few options to try. We did not sit on the Hibachi side but that was fine. We were early because it was quite empty, the food was very good and we were treated well. Would definitely consider going... More

My fiancé and I went out for our anniversary last night. We only recently noticed that this restaurant was here. Our first experience went well, the place is very clean and quiet. There's not a lot of seating. We both tried the spicy tuna roll, it was delicious. I got the Shanghai noodle dish which was made with yellow curry.... More

I came to Tokyo with my mom, we had sushi and hibachi at the main restaurant, both were very good, the sushi tastes awesome, the presentation is absolutely amazing, with all crazy types of glowing lights underneath. I tried some of my mom's hibachi, and the tofu is the best! it's like so soft and gooey inside but with a... More
