Another great pizza palace in Ithaca. Pie ingredients are superb. You won't go away hungry. Beverages are many, and you should have more than one; unless your driving.

We stopped in here for dinner on our first night in Ithaca. We had a chicken quesadilla and a personal pizza along with Sesion IPA beer and Ivy League Cream Ale. The beers were good. The food was ok - on the bland side.

We came to have pizza and wings, but it ended up taking over two hours simply because we didn't get our food for over an hour. We barely saw the waitress Heidi. She never filled our drinks or came to check on us. I had...to hunt her down to pay our bill. I was also extremely disappointed when we were ordering. We ordered a one topping 12"pizza, but I come to find out on my own that their daily special was a one topping jumbo pizza. Why didn't Heidi recommend that or even tell us what the specials were? She should have suggested it, but was too busy somewhere else. I would like to go back, but the service doesn't make me want to.More

Stopped in for dinner and a beer. The peanut butter stout was very good. We ordered salads and wings. the salads were huge and very good. Unfortunately the wings were awful. It tasted like they were par boiled before they were fried and sauced. They...were truly flavorless.More

We have been traveling to Ithaca to take our daughter to Ithaca College many times over the past year, and have been staying in the area of Triphammer Road. The Scale House has become a favorite place to eat. The wings are amazing and we...have had many of the different Italian dishes too. All are great. We have also not found a beer we didn't enjoy. The staff has always been friendly as well as the patrons we have met along the way.More

Simple menu here consisting mainly of gourmet pizzas, quesadilla's and panini's. No fried foods (french fries, etc). No dessert. No liquor. Smaller place but can easily accomodate 1-2 larger parties indoors. Given the size, this place can get loud. Outdoor seating available overlooking Seneca Lake...during the day time hours. Gourmet pizzas are simply delicious. I split a pineapple pizza with the boyfriend and ordered a side (half) salad and was too full afterwards to grab dessert elsewhere. Ingredients were very fresh and flavorful. Pizza crust is neither thin nor thick, basically in the middle. Outer edge/crust was very thick/large. Regarding their craft beers, I'm not much of a fan. I won't go into detail much about this because craft beer preferences vary greatly from person to person. Despite myself not being a fan, I'd hate to give a negative review over something that's actually a Grade A product. Out of the beers I tasted in my flight, the Peanut Butter stoudt was the best. But seriously, come here to try the pizza. So many options to choose from. There are three big TVs to watch sports on. Not a beer fan? The only other beverage options are water, soda and 3-4 wines.More

The location of this pub and pizzeria does not do it justice. I ordered the house burger (excellent beef) and two types of local beers, both very very good. Pizza was good too, or so my friends said. Very recommendable, too bad it is a...bit off the beaten path.More

I thought about this review a few days before deciding to write. I was deciding between a 3 and 4 star rating. Actually 3 1/2 would be a more accurate rating in my opinion. Back when I was a senior in High School (and drinking...age was 18!!!) I used to stop here after work before heading home. Back then it was just a small bar-now they are attached to Northeast Pizza for a little bigger space. This clearly is a local bar. We were there for lunch, looking forward to tasting the homemade mozzarella that we had read about on their website. Alas, they no longer make the mozzarella. This is a brewery (not sure they actually brew on site) and there are steel containers behind the bar. I was able to try all 3 of the brews, and chose the IPA. It had a nice flavor. We both had calzones for lunch. I had the Eat All Your Spinach. It was OK...good flavor but a lot of extra dough rather than filling. I did not eat the extra inch of dough that did not have any filling. Our server/bartender was nice enough, but nothing out of the ordinary. She switched our 2 credit cards when it came time to charge. Not a big deal, just a little confusing. We were glad to be able to have the option to pay separately. Overall, I probably would not return to dine as there are so many better/nicer places to eat in Ithaca. For grabbing a beer after work, it would fit the bill.More

We had visited this place before a few years ago and remembered that it was the best pizza in town. So we left a nighttime men's hockey game at Cornell University and made it our mission to stop here for pizza and drinks. We walked...in and it was a very small crowd but the bartender was eager and very friendly to take good care of us. Very friendly service, decent drinks, and the pizza was excellent. They also give you 15% off if you bring in a game ticket. Not fancy, but comfortable.More

On Sunday nights, there is a live jazz combo that I have gone to see a number of times, and always get dinner there when I go. It's not gourmet fare--it's burgers, pizza, wings, chicken Caesar salads, etc., often washed down with a mug of...beer. But the food they offer tastes good and is reliable and fresh and hasn't been waiting around on a steam table. The atmosphere is welcoming and casual and, though it is possible to sit at the bar, the restaurant aspect dominates and it doesn't feel "bar-ish." And if you choose to go when the jazz group is playing, it's great music!More
