This restaurant is now Mugi Sushi. It is no longer a sushi restaurant. They have added hibachi tables, garish lighting and loud music. Not as pleasant as it used to be.

Good sushi at the sushi bar; pretty quick preparation. The Japanese steak house is in a separate room so that there is some "calmness" and "quiet" in the sushi bar area.

I think Takara has changed its name and it's now offering hibachi. I have only been there when it was solely a Japanese dining restaurant. The restaurant lacks somewhat in ambience, but that does not matter in the least. The hostess is wonderful; everyone knows her; she is a staple. The waitstaff are friendly, as are the sushi chefs. Always... More

We waited for about 35 minutes because they said they had 1 chef. Then a whole new person came out. :/ but the food was really good!

This reaturant has been closed for some but just opened as Mugi (22-sep-2014), as far as I understand with the same owners, but now with full Hibachi service as well.. Highly recommended..

Just had my salmon roe, sea urchin and special roll and hot sake. I received very good service and fresh meal. Will definitely come back, maybe tomorrow. Stay away from the Thai Angel in the same strip mall. Very rude.

So happy we found this place. I'll be coming here whenever I'm in town. Really fresh, quality fish and an enormous menu.

We went there on a weeknight while we were in the area for meetings. The food was fairly good though the sushi rice didn't stick together very well. But everything was fresh and tasty. The worse part was the noise caused by so many people, sitting so closely together in a very small space.....definitely took away from the experience.

We had dinner here and enjoyed the best Japanese food ever! Everything was made to perfection. Even the miso soup and special appetizers were superb. The staff is friendly and helpful in explaining what things are. They provide abundant amounts--so go when you are very hungry! There were 4 of us and we ordered the sushi for 3 and still... More
