The food at this place is amazing! We were not prepared for a waitress with an attitude. Even tho we made reservations, they did not want to split the bill. Soda is changed per each, so a $16 soda bill for our two teens. Be...prepared for servers who don’t want to do their job.More

We didn't eat dinner, just had a raspberry martini, which was excellent. Vico is highly rated in Hudson.

We just love Vico! We come here every chance we get for the delicious food, cozy atmosphere and impeccable service. Everything is freshly prepared with fantastic ingredients and flavors. Portions and prices are just right. This visit we enjoyed the eggplant chips, pappardelle with rosemary...meatballs and the pasta with lobster. All delicious. Also, not to be missed is the Grand Marnier creme brulee - light enough for when you have just enough room left for dessert. Nice selection of wines by the glass and a full bar for cocktails. The owner and staff are super friendly and work so hard to make sure every diner has a great experience. We can't wait until tomorrow for our next meal here...wish we lived locally.More

We live in the area and eat in Hudson frequently. For some unknown reason we had never tried VIco so we made a reservation and came for dinner with friends. We won't be back. We arrived a little early and had cocktails at the bar....The drinks were fine. A little pricey but there is a cocktail menu so the cost shouldn't be a surprise. Appetizers were just boring. Scallops were nice - again a bit pricey - $16 for 2 scallops but again the menu says there are only 2 so not a surprise. The crostini were a real disappointment. 6 tiny round toasts with 2 each of three toppings. Tomato and basil (ho hum), caramelized onions with tiny crumbs of gorgonzola, and chopped green olives with a shaving of parmesan. All the toppings are just a thin smear. Even though there were only 3 or 4 other tables occupied there was a very long delay between appetizers and entrees. Branzino arrived cooled to room temperature. I had the steak and fries and the steak, although served medium-rare just as ordered, was dry and tasteless - just too lean to be good. Fries were limp and, again, tasteless. I don't usually leave food on my plate but I left about half the fries and a piece of the steak - too bland to be enjoyable. Service was OK but not outstanding. So, now we've tried Vico and can cross it off our list. There are plenty of better choices in Hudson.More

This was our first visit to Vico. The service was friendly and attentive. They serve warm focaccia bread with olive oil, which was nice. The verde salad was simple, fresh and delicious. The olives and mozzarella were tasty and a nice presentation. The entrees took...a while, but we didn’t mind. The linguine with shellfish and white wine sauce was disappointing. It was a huge portion of dry pasta with a few over cooked shrimp, some clams and two scallops. The scallops were delicious and perfectly cooked. The seafood stew had muscles, a few tiny clams, two over cooked shrimp and a white fish of some sort. It was served with two small pieces of focaccia that were saturated in olive oil or butter, which was unappetizing. A piece of crusty bread would have been nice. The atmosphere was inviting, pleasant and colorful. We were seated in the back dining room and when the wall mounted air conditioner started running, I started sneezing. Several other people had the same reaction- two women across the room and a man seated next to us. When we left, I was still sneezing and my nose was completely stuffed up (sorry to include these details, but it seemed important to mention). They have a pretty outdoor seating area, so maybe that’s the better option. If we go back, we would try different entrees and sit outside.More

This place was inviting with a friendly Dannish waitress. The lunch menu and dinner menu were given as choices since anything can be ordered any time of day....even pre-fixe. Both my friend and I ordered a soup...delicious, and one of the panini choices. It was...also delicious. Our waitress offered some fries as a choice to have with our meal. They were nicely fried with fresh thyme. I would have given it an excellent review because the food and staff is very nice but our wait time was very long. I don't mind waiting for a meal at a fine dining restaurant but when two tables around us, who came in after us was served first, one has to wonder why. I definitely want to give the restaurant a second chance maybe for a date night dinner choice one of these Fridays.More
