My husband and I was visiting Big Flats and Horseheads N.Y. for a day trip. Searching for a place to eat lunch , my husband was curious as to this restaurant. It was very clean and had great personable owners. We actually shared are plates...back and forth because they were that delicious. Ox tail, curry beans /carrots and plantains, and jerk chicken, rice and beans/gravy, cabbage and carrots. The flavors were definitely there in each dish!! Awesome first experience with Jamaican food and Highly recommended. ❤️More

It's a limited selection of what is prepared for the day. I think the food is quite good and portions are generous.

I love this place. I used to visit Jamaica often for work (I'm not a native Jamaican) and loved to eat traditional Jamaican food while there. When I left the job and moved to Upstate NY, I missed having that opportunity, so I am thrilled...that this restaurant is here, close to home.More

Had seen the good reviews so thought we would stop by. I had the curry chicken, husband had jerk chicken...flavorful without the spice. But they have the best homemade scotch bonnet sauce that we added, kicked it up a couple notches! Good flavor up front,...nice kick on the back of the palate but not overwhelming... that being said, we used a cautious amount also! Carrot & cabbage salad was bright & fresh. Rice & beans were good, not too dry, and the plantains were perfect...yum!! Wish they were located closer to home. But since they aren’t, we bought some of the scotch bonnet sauce to bring home!More

We stepped through the door and experienced our trip to the island all over again. The sounds and fragrances are the first things that greet your senses. Their portions and prices are generous and satisfying. We lunch there weekly and we absolutely love their lamb...stew when it's available. If you love coffee be sure to get a cup of their Marley blue mountain blend.More

Enjoyed the food!! Real home cooking. Pumpkin soup was delicious along with the Curry Shrimp. My friend had the Curry Goat and she is from Jamaica, said it was better than her Moms cooking. Definitely a place to stop. Sitting area is small but there...is take out.More
