Looking for authentic food and great service? This is the place. We had café de olla, authentic chocolate from Oaxaca, pan de yema, mole, blue tortillas... The staff is really helpful in explaining the different dishes. Highly recommended!!!

A nice, privately owned restaurant in Queretero City. Feels, sounds, and tastes like Mexico. Excellent flavors and can't beat the price.

We love this little restaurant in the historical part of Querétaro. The owner and staff were very attentive, and willing to spend time to discuss and explain the food on the menu. The food is presented in a very traditional manner and is simply delicious....The drinks are also very traditional and great tasting.More

Delicious authentic Oaxacan restaurant! It doesn’t get any more traditiona or delicious than this. The owners put pure love and soul into their food. Excellent service. Lovely people and atmosphere In the beautiful centro de Querétaro.

A very nice offering with excellent prices for Mexico's "Sureste" food offerings. Nice entrees, offerings, and beverages.

Not sure if we went at an off time but this turned out to be our least favorite meal in Queretaro. I was really looking forward to the tamales but they were just ok. All of the dishes were fine but just not as good...as the other restaurants we tried. We did go about a half hour before closing and were the only ones in the restaurant so not sure if that affected our experience. Prices were pretty inexpensive though.More

Good food, native Oaxaqueños from the Isthmus (where the food is distinctive, not the same as elsewhere in the state of Oaxaca), reasonably priced, charming service (owner waited on us and helped us decide what to order).

We went there for an early lunch. All the food was delicious. The chorizo and the mole are superb. Definitely a place to go
