Breakfast varied and rich. We went to Sunday for breakfast. You have to line up a little bit, but it's fast.

When I arrive to Queretero my compadre said we need to go have a pastry and coffee and I thought why?? but when we arrived and I tasted this Mexican pastry with Nata it was hands-down the best pastry I’ve ever tasted in my life

We had brunch at their wonderful patio. What a lovely place.
They have some tasty and creative dishes, leaning towards the Mexican Cuisine, combining recipes from all around the country.
My daughter had "huaraches de cochinita pibil", an interesting dish made from a thick oval tortilla (huarache) topped with pork in Yucatan area sauce (pibil), whilst my wife had Huevos Cacheteados, a couple of fried eggs on top of a tamal, bathed in green sauce with avocado on the side. I tasted both dishes and both were very interesting. Our friends had Chilaquiles, and they told me that the sauce was particularly savory (but spicy!). (I had a standard omelet - it was good).
Excellent service. Their personnel keep all covid prevention measures, and being an outdoor venue one feels really safe there.
I would strongly recommend making a reservation. When we left, there was a long line. Judging for all the cars with local license plates, it looks like this is a favorite place for the locals, which says something about their quality.

You could basically open the menu throw a dart and you will be ordering delicious food!! However, I must warn you, don't arrive late if you are starving because there is a long wait, however if you plan to stuff your face with scrumptious food and planned accordingly by skipping dinner, get there early!! I suggest you try the Guava Atole (Atole de Guayaba) specially for the "cold" mornings, but if you are a hot chocolate kinda person can't go worng either. The fruit is delicious and we tried the eggs CHUCHO EL ROTO, I did not lick the plate because I still wanted some space for a sweet bread. =) Looking at the website, you can make reservations so I definitively would have done that, although they were nice enough to bring out coffee and some sweet bread for those of us who were about to pass out from hunger while we waited. The prices are fair for the amount of food served and the quality of the ingredients, so enjoy!

The place is a bit expensive when you count that each item is separate but the attention is impecable and their menu, though not too large is very tasty! They are opened only for breakfast. I will visit again and again though it is not at downtown and if you are visiting it means a taxi or uber. We need a place like that in one of the downtown plazas!

Went with my family on opening day. Wonderful service. Great atmosphere. Delicious food. Would go again. The kitchen really knows how to cook. I learned the bread is made on the premise . That explains why it was so good!
