Alfred U and Alfred State graduation weekend and place was packed and the plates were full. Service was spot on. Pleasant mix of pub foods. We loved the fried pickles. Burgers, wraps and salads were excellent and tater tots as side were fantastic.
Got seated immediately, waitress was taking g our drink orders within five minutes. The place was half full , I would said busy for a Monday night. I order the shepherd pie, it was tasty but a bit salty. The portion was HUGE. Order only...if you are very hungry. The place is fairly nice and roomy. Service was very good. Definitely will return, since all the restaurants that I use to go to are not longer here.More
Wonderful local feel. Big TV's for sports enthusiats. Went during the day on a Saturday. There were a number of families and all were having a good time. Accommodating waitstaff, lowkey and friendly. Irish stout onion soup was delicious as was the Beef on Kimmo.There...were five of us and no complaints. Reasonable and worthy of many visits. Extensive menu.More
We came here after my brothers wanted to eat in Canesteo at his favorite spot and they were closed. I found Paddy's on trip advisor . Honesty wasnt sure what to expect, the outside wasn't very inviting and i wasn't sure it was even open....We walked in and found lots of tables, a lovely bar with many yummy beer taps for anyone's liking. So we all had different sandwiches. My brother had the beef brisket bbq. He said wow he was so glad the restaurant he wanted to go to was closed 😊my dad had the beef on weck he ate it all! I had a beef sandwich also super good! The wait staff was awesome! Sorry i forgot her name😕I wasn't sure which beer to have and she offered a taste of the three in question. Great place all the way around. We will be back when in the area! Thanks again!More
Stopped in for a late lunch/early dinner mid week. The server mentioned steak/bacon soup as the soup of the day. I got a cup and found it nearly inedible, it was SO salty. I didn't say anything to the server (it's not her fault...) but...I wanted to write this as a general notification to restaurant owners... USE LESS SALT. There's salt at the tables so the customer can add salt to accommodate their own tastes. I've encountered this problem at various restaurants in the past and, even though I've mentioned (the over-salting) problem to the servers or managers it seems that the next time we order the same item, at the same restaurant, there's the same problem. Now I'm done with my rant about over-salted food. The rest of the food at Paddy's was pretty good. The Caesar salad was very good but the Reuben I had was a bit too fatty for my liking. Overall, pretty good.More
Waitress was attentive and food was excellent! I had the delmonico steak and it was cooked perfectly to order with a nicely charred outside and rare on the inside. It was so tender and the flavor was great. My husband ordered the rueben sandwich on...rye bread. He loved the toasted bread and said his sandwich was delicious!More
Don't let the darkened window at the entrance intimidate you. Behind it is a cozy bar that serves good steak and salads. They know how to grill at great steak and the Delmonico cut was done just right for me. The menu would benefit from...some fried plain fish options like salmon and swordfish which would, of course, have to be frozen so far from the ocean. Otherwise no complaints. They know how to make a nice martini and prices are reasonable, especially compared to NYC. The bar is closing on April 15 and 16 for a little remodel we were told.More
Paddy's is such a great place they are always so accommodating to all.
Their customer comes first they will go above and beyond to make sure you are satisfied with your visit. The staff are very professional and personable and will do whatever needed to...have happy and satisfied clientele. Customers of all types and ages are made to feel at home. The Head chef will take the time to ensure you are happy with your order no question. Paddy's is an outstanding place and has definitely been a major part in the Hornell community

Patty’s is a good place to go with or without kids. We enjoy their drinks and food. The kids do not like their steaks, but they’ve learned not to order them. I don’t eat beef, so I can’t judge. I do like their tator tots...and pretzels.More
Been to Paddy's several times. Once received soup that tasted like it had been reheated several times. The service can be slow and saw a waitress be very nasty to another table. Not sure if they deserved it or not. Other times, I have had...a good experience and the food was fine. Nothing to brag about but ok.More
We were pleasantly surprised by the menu - the burger selection was enticingly creative. I tried the Burlington Burger (sharp white cheddar, bacon, and house made maple mayo). The combination of flavors was delicious!. My student son and his roommates sampled wings, loaded fries, and...quesadillas for appetizers. For main courses, other burgers were a hit, and another student selected the prime rib special. All the food was freshly prepared and great! Note - the pub is very unassuming from the outside, and we found it a little confusing to navigate the street/city mall/parking to get to the backdoor entrance.More
