Every meal was buffet style. There was so much to choose from and the food was excellent. You can never go hungry there.

After reading several mixed and poor reviews, I was a little unsure what to expect. However, we were very surprised at how nice it was. It is a much larger hotel than the other place we stayed (Camp Kipwe), so it didn't have the same level of personal experience but it was also a lot less expensive. The rooms were... More

Dramatic lunch, dinner and breakfast, For food lovers a place to avoid. Nothing has taste. Staff is not interested and nothing is fresh. We don't understand why it is so bad there.

Oasis in the middle of nowhere. Dry and very hot in summer time. Gravel roads, in good condition. Accomodation good. The restaurant is very nice and excellent food, local food. The pool area very nice and great to cool down. Pre booking essential. Also accessible via plane. Staff and management very helpful and professional. Easy to visit the dessert elephants... More

Nice room and shower which was well needed after a few nights camping! Small pool and a few lounge chairs which is another luxury after hours of driving. And desert elephants locally

The entrance to the hotel is one of tje most spectacular and cleverly designed. It is a tribute to architectural integration into the environment. The facilities are good. The pool a welcome oasis on a hot day. The rooms are spacious. Splurge on plains view. The back room where we stayed was good but felt closed in.

Twyfelfontein Country Lodge is set in a peaceful secluded area of the Khorixas region. We visited this lodge for lunch while travelling to Etosha. The main building looks wonderful as you walk up from the car park. It is literally built into the hillside - you will notice that the stairs turn from man-made to natural stone as you climb... We stayed here for three nights. Our accommodation in a chalet was very good. It was clean a fairly spacious the bathroom at the rear of the sleeping area looked great however you needed to shower quickly as it drained away slowly and tended to spill over onto the bath mat. The bed was extremely comfortable and the linen and... More

There is a wide selection of food available. The food is also very delicious and well prepared. Bit overpriced though, but definitely one of the better buffets.
