Lodbet, shellfish, and steaks. Known for the "tame" fish that veritably leap out of the hudson to grab chunks of bread they're fed by patrons. Haute cuisine? No. Good and fun, yes.

Mariners is out of business!! Burned down. We drove around for a very long time looking for this place. Signage was terrible but finally found the burnt out shell.

Stopped by there after work, hoping to have drink. Looks like the place is closed for renovation. Out door bar demolished. Large dumpster and debris.

Location is the experience. Decent place to visit for a bite after The Walkway Over the Hudson. Food is average. Beer is terrific as you can't go wrong with a decent draft. Have since made the effort to drive down to restaurants on the Newburgh waterfront. Better food!

We stopped here after doing the walkway across the hudson because it was getting late and we were hungry. We just wanted something light- and the menu listed a nice selection of light entrees, salads and sandwiches. The waitress was very attentive and pleasant. We did have to ask twice for silverware so we could butter the bread she brought... More

Only reason I'm giving three circles is because the view is spectacular. We ate here last night and everyone was choosing to sit out on the deck overlooking the Hudson River with views of Marist, Walkway over the Hudson & the Mid-Hudson Bridge. The food was okay. Service was okay. I'd suggest coming for a drink & appetizers before heading... More

YES, the view is fantastic. This in no way makes up for the bad food and horrific service. Our table of four ordered two of the burger specials, medium rare; both came charred to death. Ahi tuna was full of muscle and was very tough. Seafood salad was bland and lacked flavor. Chef came by to ask about the meal... More

If location were everything, Mariner's would have it made. Too bad everyhthing else needs attention. The parking lot was filled with kyackers cars at 5pm. Wait time for mediocre food was very long. Even the ice cream came melted. Watching the 18 hot air ballons inflate and go up was lots of fun.

We had a great time on Tuesday night playing a trivia game. The game hosts were first-rate and everyone was welcoming. Beautiful views! The food is OK but we came for the appetizers and fun😊

Who doesn't want to behold such a gorgeous view of a sun streaked river glistening on a fine summer day as ducks gracefully swim by & enjoying a bite to eat, next to a pier, minus all the nonsense next door? Well my kindred spirits, boy do I have a splendid solution for you.... just park right in the parking... More
