Very Friendly Good Food

Tasty good food. Very nice service. A little off the beaten path but worth it. In the present location with country like setting.

Arrived a bit early and had drinks at the bar. Friendly crowd and staff. We were seated promptly at our reservation time and service was attentive during the whole meal. We ordered the crab cake and cream of broccoli soup for appetizers and both tasted fresh homemade and were excellent. Although at $15 the one crab cake was a bit... More

The Would is tucked away on a hillside in Highland, "off the beaten path," and we just hadn't gotten there in a year or so. We've had great meals there in the past, and last night's experience was no exception. The atmosphere is cozy and romantic: the fireplace was blazing, each table had a candle, the setting is both rustic... More

The service here was excellent and the venue looks unassuming from the outside but is quite nice inside with a rustic feeling and a fireplace. They also have a bar and candle light at each table. They have many seating choices including patio dining in the warmer months. We went here for restaurant week and the food was delicious. I... More

We were a little early for our reservation, but they took us right in. A busy Friday night. The four of us enjoyed the ride to Highland NY, about an hour South of home. We started with our usual - beer for the guys, we had wine. Two of us had the BowTies with Chicken, mushrooms, and peas in a... More

I was there for a wedding. I always cringe at wedding food but this was different. Both the chicken & the beef were delicious. The au jus was different, amongst the best I have had in a really long time. The room is cozy and the staff were pleasant & efficient. I look forward to returning.

We were a group of four for dinner. Two ordered the salmon and two order the pasta with Bolognese. It is an a' la carte menu so we also ordered salads and appetizers to share. The fried calamari was light and delicious, but they serve it with a sweet chili sauce, so we asked for the traditional red sauce as... More

This delicious restaurant is tucked back from route 9W. There is plenty of parking and they have added several features since I was there last. They have an outdoor tent to hold events and also have a little water fall area. The food was very good. We had the peppers and the zucchini flowers as appetizers. Very tasty, but only... More

Amazing meals! Lots of attention to detail. Sitting at the bar for drinks and apps was perfect. Claire was right on! The grounds are landscaped beautifully!

A nice out in the country location that is pretty good. A bit pricey for the area, but the food was tasty. The wine selection though is not very varied and we would have liked to have seen other choices besides chardonnay for bottles of wine. We are still wondering why the name is The Would??
