This place hasn't changed a bit, in 30 years - and that's a very good thing. Very cozy, comfortable booths, great menu and service. Wish we still lived nearby, but worth the ride.

We visited this restaurant with two other couples in on a Friday evening. Although COVID-19 restrictions were in effect, the restaurant did not feel empty. We were seated quickly at our socially distanced indoor table. The waiter was very attentive and took our drink and...food orders pretty quickly. Our party of six had an assortment of appetizers and entrees. I had a calamari appetizer that was quite good, and JagerSchnitzel for an entree that was also very good. Everyone in our party was similarly pleased. We wrapped up with coffee - most of us were too full for dessert. Overall, very good. I would definitely recommend this restaurant for a casual dinner or relaxing time at a local bar.More
They now have outdoor dining and it's always super busy here. We decided to try dine in and as soon as we walked in we were seated in a warm and cozy spot. Love the vibe here. Hubby was certain he wanted steak (Marinated Flat...Iron Steak) and I didn't know what to get. The waiter was kind enough to make some suggestions and I decided to go with the Rack of Lamb. He mentioned the Petite had 4 pieces and the Full had 8, so I went with the petite. For drinks we got coke and water. They first got us some fresh warm bread. Shortly after, our food arrived, it was pretty but I think the portion was kind of small for the steak. Food was alright. Or maybe I just had high expectations- it wasn't bad, but it wasn't amazing! One thing that truly impressed us was their digital-menu: Like you scan the barcode for it, and it opens up a link via Safari / Mobile browser. I thought that was pretty cool. They called it the contact-less menu. As for dessert, we decided to try the Tartufo - which was a chocolate shell with vanilla ice cream and some cherry goodness on the inside. Again, pretty decent, nothing out of the world-ish. Extremely impressed with the service, but food was just not up-to-my expectations!More
The food is delicious! The atmosphere is warm and inviting. The staff are attentive but don’t rush you. A hidden gem!
first make a reservation because they get a big turnout lots pf parking available very large menu saturday nights is prime rib night size of portion is enough for two to share or take home for a second dinner appitizers are great large portions prices...are medium leave room for a great dessert no rush on finishing the staff is very attentive only problem is the restaurant can get noisy but the place is terrific and i will go back again recomendations prime ribs lamb chops special dessert cake which 6 people sharedMore
Steaks were just okay not very flavorful.. veggies however were seasoned nicely Server was very friendly and helpful wselections
Great food and service. Friendly staff. Food is fresh and always good. Great neighborhood local restaurant.
Had a great lunch with my boss there not long ago. The food and service were both excellent and the price for pre-fix was very fair. The portions are smaller than I remember from years back eating there for lunch but not a big deal...overall. Highly recommend this great pub.More
Great food in a beautiful, romantic dining room. We are frequent diners at Peppercorn's and usually come on weekdays as we eat out frequently. This is one of our favorite places.
Went for a surprise birthday party during off hours on a Sunday...the people working here were very nice and overall service was good...however the quality of the food was really poor- the main chicken dish was simply inedible! The salad was ok as were the...rolls but the hot dishes were so tasteless, chewy and hard to eat! Perhaps because this was a private party- little effort was made? But it's hard for me to look at other reviews of this place which state that the food was good, it light of my recent experience!More
Really nice romantic steakhouse. They have us complimentary bruschetta which was a nice surprise. Steaks were cooked perfectly.
We were looking for a good high quality meal in a relaxing atmosphere and Peppercorns was perfect! The food was fantastic and wine list was pretty extensive. The best part was the service. We enjoyed hanging out with our server, bar tender and then the...owner. If you get the chance don’t miss this place.More
Wait staff was terrific and very attentive. A good selection of food and it is delicious. A full bar if that is what you like. Nice place for a meet and greet or first date. Downside is you must park in railroad parking lot and...you do need quartersMore
friends suggested going t o Peppercorns and we were not disappointed. we got there around 7 pm and did not have reservations but the host was very accommodating and advised to wait at the bar for a few moments and luckily we were seated within...10 minutes. waitress brought over savory bruschetta to start our evening. we chose the light and airy calamari with 3 delectable sauces. then we each tried a different main dish- hubby chose the succulent fall -off-the bone!! ribs so delicious (dry rub), daughter ordered the marinated flank steak with mashed potatoes..yummy and i went with the pork schnitzel which was huge.....two dinners in one!More
My husband and I were on Long Island for a long weekend to visit family and wanted to take everyone out to dinner. We all decided on Peppercorns. I thought the ambiance was very nice. We had the seafood appetizer for two, but shared it...with five and there was plenty. I had the Ribeye with Demi Glaze. The steak lacked flavor. I don't think I should have to douse it with salt to get flavor out of it. It should already come seasoned for $34. We probably wouldn't go back.More
