Stonecat is a MUST when visiting Seneca. The food is amazing, service is spot on, and of course the wine is mostly local. My wife and I always make a point to grab a reservation whenever we're in the area. It's the only dinner location in the area that we have to visit each and every time we can. Vegetarian... More

A foodie place on Seneca Lake with a great and interesting menu. Mac and cheese with pulled pork, poutine, chorizo and veggie soup, gyro were all very good! Nice view of Seneca Lake. Worth the drive. Glad we found this place

We were looking for something different from pizza and wings and found a great cafe off of the normal path. The Stonecat Cafe is unique with the choices on the menu and their use of local products to round out a perfect dining experience. The staff is great and more than willing to explain the nuisances on the menu. The... More

A diamond in the rough! First several times I've driven past it I thought it was a dump. Boy was I surprised! The fare is local with a somewhat country or southern flare made from freshest organic ingredients and served with best of the best of local wines. Pick almost anything from the menu and you'll be hard pressed to... More

We came here for dinner on a Saturday. The roasted garlic appetizer was excellent. However, as the night got busier, service got more strained. We could tell that our waiter was great, but was incredibly stressed. First, two of the entrees were sent back because the meals were too cold (NY strip entree and the duck special entree). By the... Thank you so much for sharing your feedback on your dining experience this past weekend. I believe I assisted you in straightening out your bill at the end of your meal. You are absolutely right- service was harried on Saturday night! We are usually well staffed for busy weekend services, but as we begin to wind down for the year... More

The food is good, the service is attentive, the offerings unique. It was an enjoyable lunch, a touch on the pricey side. Lunch for two with one of us having a glass of wine $50

We stopped here in the middle of our vineyard tour. It is a funky place with a great live band. We were happy we had made a reservation. The restaurant was full. The food was very good. I had French toast with a side of bacon. It came with some of the best hash browns I have had. One of... More

We dined at Stonecat recently for an informal family dinner - just 2 couples. The food was very fresh and delicious. Service was good but provided by a lot of different faces.

We had dinner Thursday night and liked it so much we went back for lunch on Friday. At dinner we had curried squash soup, seafood stew, chicken with cornbread stuffing, scallops with polenta, and a side of cornbread. For dessert we shared a grape tart. At lunch we had a turkey sandwich and a chicken leg entree. We shared a... More

While on a trip to Seneca Lake Wine Trail, we were looking for a great place for dinner. One of the wineries recommended the Stonecat and to say the least it did not disappoint. Service was on point and the food was terrific. Dinner was well paced and everything came out hot and delicious. If your looking to have a... More
