Best lentil soup and Greek salad ever: fresh and tasty. The owner, Niko, is like a family member, taking well-care of his customers. Sitting area is cosy and service is fast. I'll definitely come back.
Best place to eat Turkish / Mediterranean food in New York. Service is fast and friendly, all the meze dish are well prepared and tasty, and kebabs are excellent.
You should not miss if you are in the area
We had dinner here the other night and were really pleased. Service was quick and attentive. The food was fresh and tasty. We were eating with 3 little kids and 4 adults. When the kids decided they "needed" chicken fingers, our server whipped some up...and they looked amazing -- homemade and not-greasy. Everything we tried, from the salads to the salmon wrapped in grape leaves to the shishkebabs, was delicious. The restaurant itself was comfortable and spacious. Highly recommend.More
A very well decorated and comfortable dining room, with good acoustics so event while dining next to a large group noise level was ok.
The menu strangely doesn’t come with a combo service of all of the wonderful middle eastern salads, so we ordered a...few for the table. The pita bread was fresh and warm and perfect for dipping.
I recommend the fish - bronzino.
And do try the Turkish apple tea!More
Ambience is peaceful. Owner friendly and helpful.
Whole branzino , borsch, fabulous. Both my favorites. Lentil soup also excellent. All salads are plentiful and delicious. My favorites: shepherd, Jerusalem or bean salad. I also enjoy the herring and potatoes. Made with dill and lemon. Last...but not least the Cacik is the best I have ever had.More
While Visiting family in Westchester my brother suggested this restaurant. Had Jerusalem salad- just Ok- pita bread with delicious olive tapenade- reasonable falafel dish (overpriced) and shrimp shish- very good vegetables and shrimp.
Overall a nice experience- pleasant surroundings and quiet so that conversation was...capable.More
