Chef Bryan is passionate about food and takes pride in every dish he makes. His beautuful wife is an awesome mixologist and works her magic in every drink she pours. Quality food and service in Hartsdale that you would normally expect in any 4 star...restaurant in NYC. If you haven't been, you are missing out.More

Visited on a Saturday evening for an early dinner with high expectations after reading TI reviews. We were the first diners of the evening and ate inside where the tables were arranged wonderfully to support distancing during this time of Covid. Ordered the burrata and...heirloom tomato appetizer - burrata was good but the tomatoes included pieces of the core on two of the four slices - something that should not have been overlooked in the preparation. I opted for the ribs, on the server's recommendation, while my husband had the Wagyu burger. He enjoyed his burger but my ribs were tough and more fatty than meaty. If not for the fries, I probably would have left hungry. With no one but us to focus on, and adding in the fact that we told our server it was our first time there, the experience was underwhelming. I doubt we will return since we were not focused on finding a new burger place.More

Lots of flavor in unusual combinations. All dishes were prepared with exquisite taste. The desert was amazing! Every time we went to Único is a wonderful experience.

Great food, attentive service, good drinks, great atmosphere. Great neighborhood place. Have dined here at least 7-10 times and were never disappointed. Brought many friends here. So happy to have this gem close by

Everything we ordered was delectable and the service was excellent. Appetizers - beet salad: smoky and yet refreshing - asparagus salad: could have used more truffles but still very earthy. - octopus: perfect portion and flavorful. Also not chewy - Thai sauce / mussels: hands...down the winner of the night! I wish I ordered another one as my entree! Entrees - boar sampler: big portion; rich and heavy. It was an interesting braised shank - strip steak: best entree of the night. The peppercorn sauce was buttery and paired perfectly with the steak - duck breast: also perfectly cooked, no complaints whatsoever.More

My wife and I tried it based on the reviews. The food is very unique and well presented. However, every bite of what appeared to be flavorful experience, turned out to have understated and bland flavors. Some things were not seasoned and there was no...salt or pepper on the table to help the help the food. We had the Spicy Beggars purse and fried Goat cheese. There was no spice what so ever in the purses and there was a tiny amount of meat inside them. The goat cheese was tasty. We had the Seared Tuna which was not sushi grade tuna. It was a very average tasting steak with no seasoning and overcooked. The plantains, although good, did not complement the already bland tuna We also had the SQUID INK TAGLIOLINI. The pasta was chewy and tasteless. And the wild boar did not complement the seafood shrimp and mussels. They get 4 stars for service. They were very attentive and friendly. The decor was also unique and funky, but my wife felt uncomfortable with the weird large picture of an apotolictic looking man with a lions head holding a glass of wine. We wish them well, but we like flavor in our food.More

Food quite good, service earnest and attentive. We enjoyed everything we ordered. But the atmosphere pretty awful and really detracts from the experience. You feel like you are in a low end coffe shop. They really need to put some effort into the lighting, seating,...furniture. Not a very pleasant dining experience, despite the fact that the food is quite good.More

Went there for the first time because I was tired of going to the same old neighborhood places for dinner. I am so glad I took a chance I tried this new restaurant. could not have been happier with the service. Walter was charming and...friendly. The menu is not very large but is very interesting. Between the four of us we tried the Branzino, roasted sweet potato soup, duck agnolotti and the pappardelle and I have to say each dish was absolutely delicious. Not only was the food incredibly prepared with fresh, flavorful ingredients...it was also beautifully plated and presented.More

My friends and I went for a “Girls’ Night Out.” What a wonderful place! We were cordially greeted and shown to our table, which we had reserved. They have a great bar menu with creative cocktails and a good wine selection. The Sangria is homemade,...filled with fruit. It was the best I have ever had. Yucca chips accompanied our drinks and were as addictive as potato chips. Food was fresh and exceptionally delicious. We started with salads which were well prepared and tasty. Three of us had pasta and two had fish. Preparation of the food was clearly done with expert hands, with everything cooked to perfection. The chef came out to chat and this personal touch is greatly appreciated by diners. Desserts were spectacular! The lava cake is not to be missed. Overall, a great place to eat and relax with friends. The chef is creative, the service was excellent, and you will definitely want to return to see what new culinary creations this exceptional chef is offering.More

We ordered 4 appetizers and entrees and each one was exceptional. The roast duck, beef cheek, crispy salad, and tuna were the standouts.

You will find a menu on the restaurant's website (sorry but tripadvisor won't permit anyone to post website links). Just google Unico Hartsdale and you'll find it!
