If you want to see a huckster in action and a reasonably good show, go on by. Mostly he's just there to make a dollar any way he can.

Resident Hancock celebrity Ray Turner of NatGeo's Filthy Riches serves up native Upper Delaware River eel smoked on site, along with a variety of smoked cheeses, fish, and both hot- and cold-smoked salmon. The "store" is at his unique home right on the Delaware River,...More

Taking the ever-so-boring trek home from upstate New York, we caught a glimpse at a sign for Smoked Eel. I had seen several episodes of Filthy Riches on NatGeo and was like hmm...could this be the place?! With nothing else to do before heading back...More

Good food and a showman who has his routine down pat. Gypsy boat launch is a nuisance for all who live along the river. Anything for a quick buck

We came to visit after hearing about this place from NatGeoTV's Filthy Riches. Ray is a nice guy. He sells food that he smokes and we were also able to get honey and maple syrup from other locals in his shop.

The smoking General lives at Delaware Delicacies. We had smoked shrimp - amazing, smoked game hen - best poultry I've ever had in my life, smoked gouda - it was a good-a. Host Ray is the best.

Follow the hand painter signs to the smoke house. It is a one of a kind treat in the Catskills. Excellent smoked shrimp, salmon, and don't forget the eel. Be sure to watch out for bears on your way in and out.

Best smoked shrimp ever. Huge for 2$ a pop. I also got the smoked salmon and Gouda. Everything was delicious. Other local items are also sold in the store. Didn't get to try the eels (he was out) but I'll visit again for sure!
