Got chicken?

Quite disappointed with our recent visit. We chose this restaurant based on their menu items. One of us doesn’t eat fish and they only had one steak option which was very overpriced. So we were excited to be sharing the chicken Milanese, an item on their regular menu. But unfortunately we were told shortly after ordering our drinks that they had run out of Chicken Milanese. That was just after we were told they had run out of their specials for the night. So we pivoted to order Cesar salad with grilled chicken. After another few minutes they came back to tell us we could not order that either because they ran out of chicken. Of any kind. Well, almost any kind… they did offer us chicken tenders but since we are not 12 year olds we politely declined and left to eat dinner elsewhere. Crazy disappointing.

Excellent seafood overlooking the water . Seafood salads, lobster rolls ,fried calamari ,are all well done . Good service and a fine beer selection . Prices are a bit steep , but just a sign the Hampton have come

Don't Pass This Place By!

We've tried many G'port restaurants, and somehow missed this one. Big mistake on our part as we intend to return! Waitstaff was courteous & attentive, the food was oh-so-delish (no better burger than their baconlicious angus burger!), the view was sooo beautiful, and Ida, the Manager, made us feel so welcome. We will definitely order at their inviting little gazebo seafood bar next time -- which should be soon!

Sadly….Honestly…Awful

We had a 7:30 pm reservation yesterday. The restaurant was not busy. The waiter took awhile to get to us and took our drink order. 30 minutes later we received our drinks. We asked numerous times for water with lemon. After 45 minutes later, and asking another wait staff, we got our water. Still waiting on the lemon. It could have been the waiters first night there as he didn’t have a clue what the specials wee. 20 minutes later, he came back to tell us about a fluke special….one item. We ordered our entrees and the waiter said he had. 14 entrees written on his pad and had to review since we were a party of 12. Not a great experience and none of us weee thrilled with our meals. Not sure we will be back.

Waterfront with Excellent Food

Great waterfront dining spot. Although, it was so hot the day we were there, we decided to eat inside. Spicy Margarita’s we’re excellent. Calamari was expertly fried and delicious. Skirt steak was also perfectly cooked. A difficult cut to get right. Very flavorful. Other entree was lobster Cobb salad. Delicious. Overall an excellent evening out.

Never coming back.

The quality was terrible. Lobster was crumbs and dried out and not even fresh. We used to love this place. I hope the owner sees the light and stops letting greed ruin the experience.

Great food, great service, great view

It's wonderful that a restaurant with a fantastic view also has good food. We all enjoyed our meals. Calamari, skirt steak, lobster roll, and mussels were all big winners. Prices are as expected at a nice restaurant in Greenport, so no surprises. Nice staff also. We only eat outdoors for Covid safety, so this place was perfect for us.

Good food and service, great view

Came here with a group of friends for lunch. They seated us quickly and let us choose a table we liked. We had fish tacos, a seared tuna sandwich, a Mediterranean plate. The food was good and our waiter came back a few times to check on us. The view is great from almost any table. Definitely recommend it.

Get there once a year for the company and the great food . I had the best calamari in General Tso sauce. My wifes tuna poke was excellent . The lobster rolls were enjoyed even though they weren’t real lobster rolls as they were lobster salad. Fabulous dessert — key lime pie. Good drinks. Excellent service as usual.

Go with full wallet and full stomach

Uncomfortable chairs. The portions were tiny and not that good. Fish tacos for $30 (I chose the wilted lettuce option) and really were basically an overpriced appetizer. Smelled of sewage. View is nice but you can get that for free on the boardwalk. Never again.

Tasty Food Overlooking the Water

It was a pleasure to eat our tasty meals (burger for him, bass special for me) while watching the ferries go in and out. The service was polite and attentive. There were a lot of locals dining there, which is a good sign.

Fun Happy Hour

The outside waterfront bar is a blast on a sunny summer day. Many locals meet there but always include the tourists. Their fries are good because you need to eat if you drink....so split an order.

Lobster Grilled Cheese!

We loved Port! Nice heated tent on the water. Really nice service. The lobster grilled cheese with tomato bisque dipping sauce was FANTASTIC! We came back a second night for a drink and dessert - the staff was very accommodating.

Just Chill!!!

We decided to sit at a hi-top table outside. My wife and I love eating with views of the water. We ordered a pitcher of rum punch which was a bit much for the two of us but we drank every bit of it because it was so tasty and just chilled out. The food was good too!!
